I can't wait to see some dense buds :)

It sucks you can't keep yours under that hps but at least the girls got a little bit of time under it!

I can probably wait a week & convince douchebag that we need to finish the grow out with the HPS, as long as we take the CFL's out. He's concerned about his power bill. If I can get him to understand the HPS is drawing less power than the 400+ watts of cfl we have going, then I'm in business. These girls still have 25-35 days left depending on the strain, so I'm in no rush. If I can get it back on them for the final 2-3 weeks they will swell up like crazy. If not, they'll still be nice buds, just not as big as I want them to be.

Thats a good way to look at it! Hopefully he will realize you might as well finish them off with the hps since you have it though... Either way you will still have some sexy ass plants lol..

I was thinkin about that, don't jinx me bro. The way I see it the sun's intensity drops off at the end of the year so I think they will be ok. I've never heard of power stress. It's usually light cycle stress.

Ya the glass is definitely more than half full bro, they were so damn stinky today. One of em even smelled like garlic. lol

Update - Day 42 of Flowering:

Last day under the HPS (unfortunately) until further notice. They seem to have moved to another stage of growth, all the big kolas finally got some red hairs on them now. I finally figured out how to really use the macro setting on my camera effectively, so these pics are the best to date. Enjoy.

It's only been a few days under the HPS but your right, I actually can see some difference I'll get a few shot's up by the weekend and see what you think..

Progress looks awsome dude, will be watching ;)

yeah I agree even in 48 hours the progress was quite evident for me, HPS is just the best way to go if you can keep your temps reasonable.

I'm lookin at 3-4 more weeks. NYCD is a 70 day strain & today is day 43 or 44...? Some of the others might be ready earlier, the WW or the bagseed. Will have a smoke report of some kind by mid sept. :joint::hump:
