I don't think anyone is blaming him for things done during the Bush administration though I haven't read all the post, rather the way he is handling the situation himself now.
Throwing money at failing companies is somewhat redundant if the reason we "had" to do it was because they were too big to fail. Some will live on and some wont. Those whom aren't will what? Sell off what they have to whom? The larger companies that survived the fallout who will then get too big to fail...again.
Someone said it best, its a global community. Becoming isolationist isn't going to solve anything. As far as revolt...you make me laugh. There was a time when that was possible but in the modern world in a rich country, no amount of citizenry is going to be able to compete with a professional military force. Unless of course, a large section of the military goes awol and joins in but that is highly unlikely.

i've seen it. i did watch part of it again. i know the government is corrupt, cinical, profit driven, wasteful, duplicitous, back-stabbing, war mongering, genocidal, imperialistic sham that rest on the shoulders of the ideals expounded by our great-founding fathers, who are no doubt rolling in their graves as i type this....but it beats the alternative.
actually, i believe a true three party (at least) system could solve many of the problems caused by the funding "rules" governing our system. I'm not buying the a doomsday scenario though.
EDIT: i know some of the founding fathers were freemasons too....ooooooooooooooooooooo scary
