Octopot, Air Injection Technology or Similar Systems

Hey Rollitup Community

I'm an amateur hortaculturist and by that I mean I don't just like the study of cannabis I enjoy it as a subject generally.

I was wondering if any body had used the octopot system or another version of a soil/dwc set up like the ones featured below.

I am also not looking for bullshit comments like I wouldnt use that it's gonna cause root rot etc. I want GENUINE knowledge and feed back from people who have tried this or currently run in.

an air-injected Hempy bucket would destroy an Octopot.

you should run a side by side grow. start a journal and let's see the results.

It's in the cards but I want to research this first as it maybe something I want to stock for the crazy fucks that like non conventual grow methods.

in my opinion, if you are going to use soil, i would build it up so all i had to do for the entire grow would be add water.

i've done Hempy's many times but never bothered to try an airstone. i could only guess that it would improve growth.

have fun! experimenting and trying new things is always fun . even it doesn't work as expected.

I'm guessing you're right as in DWC oxygen per litre upped generally means an increase in growth. I like the idea that oxygenated root zones aren't ideal places for anarobic bacterias

I’ve done both side by side. My hempy bucket didn’t compare. I filled my 4x4 tent completely with the octopot. If I had it in my 5x5 it would have filled that out easily. I got 1300ish grams from the octopot and 850ish from my hempy bucket.
