odd room heat question

Hi everyone, im Joe. I have a heat question and after lurking and searching other threads I cant find a situation like mine so I ask for forgiveness if this has been asked before. I have a 4x4x8 walk in tiled shower that I am going to grow in. I will build a tent of sorts and mylar the whole interior of my space. The entire bathroom is 8x8x8 with a central ac duct at the front of a trunk system making it the coolest room in the house. All interior walls and a standard light/exaust fan in the ceiling. I have a switchable 1000 watt hps/mh ballast and a small oscillating fan for circulation. Will my room be too hot? I may be able to cut a hole in the ceiling and duct it to the light (6" ported enclosed hood) and buy an inline but if I dont have to I would like to avoid that route. I am growing in soil and hope for 6-9 healthy females for a yield of around 1lb. I have grown in the past and had moderate success and I want to try for bigger better results so I think this forum and its knowledgeable members will shorten the curve alot. I appreciate all criticism and advise and I am glad to be here!

You will probably need to vent the hot air out of the room one way or another. Also consider that you will need to take in air from outside the room as well.

Play around with your setup. U might not need to vent out hot air if like you said that that room is the coolest room in your house. Dont forget to add a filter to kill the odor.
My room is sealed right now and it is a 11x16x8. I have a 15000 BTus wall mounted AC unit, Running two 1000 gavitas pro lights. Around this time of year we hitting lower 90's and mid 60's at night. Later on around november it will be cold as fuck over here at north cali.

If you are not exausting your Air check your humidity. My humidity rises while they are asleep around 61% but when the lights are on i am around 48-52 %. My temps when the lights are on are around 79-83 degress, while asleep mid 70's.

How long do you plan on veg?
How tall?

Just walked in there and with the rest of the house sitting at 74 there is a pretty noticeable difference... then I look up and the vent is closed so I opened it up to see the difference. Hanging a thermo today.

I want end results to be less than 5ft so using other thread info here I an going to switch them at 18-24 inches

You should run a small inline fan from your hood out the vent. It will get way to hot/humid if you end up going 9. Your plants will love it and so will you.

That is part of the problem, the only vent is the "in" vent for the central ac as it is an interior room so no windows either. After opening up the vent to let the ac in it is 7 degrees cooler in there than the rest of the house. 74/67 with the ac humidity set to 52% the only way to vent the room is to cut a hole in the ceiling and I want to avoid that if possible. The light does have a small exaust fan built into it just not sure how much that will help.

I think it will get to hot. A 1000W HPS cranks out some serious heat and that space is pretty small. F man had a good suggestion...run the light and see what it does before you go apeshit cutting holes. If you find that it is to hot, which it will be, and you have the luxery of being able to cut a hole to exhaust the heat from the light fixture, I would install the inline fan and draw some of that cool air coming out of the ac register, pipe it through the light and exhaust it out of there. That will help during hot summer months but come winter your back in the same boat because instead of cool air blowing out, your heating the home instead.

Ya...I know ha!! If its not one thing, its always another!
