Bout to clean first real glass bong, whats the best thing to use?

rubbing alcohol and salt, shake it up

yeah rubbing alcohol and salt will work well, just make sure to flush it with water very very well.

but when you get the chance buy this stuff, its pure magic

does this work with pyrex pipes to ?

Use kosher or rock salt for the best results. Also for anyone using an acrylic bong, never, never, never pour in a ton of salt then add the alcohol and shake. It took my dumb ass 2 bongs to figure out that when you shake up like 3 oz of salt in a confined space, it is going to force the stem places it was not supposed to go, thus cracking the acrylic around it and eventually ruining the bong (duct tape will get them an extra couple of days of life but they will end up leaking sooner than later).
