I'm jealous! My girls aint getn nothing compared to yours. About 150 watts at 2' height. I honestly don't want huge plants cus my space is limited but I do want them to all have a decent yield. I usually pull close to same yield each run with each light. Any idea why mine can't take much light?? Of course I know im still in veg and can up it some in bloom. Im not complaining cus light bill is low considering everything im running but would be nice to push it a lil harder. I haven't maxed my lights since earlier grows. It worked but at that time I wasn't paying no attention to leaves.
I always keep my light at 100% i only dim them if i take picture they get use to it 16h/on in veg

Ima try that my next run. I think I babied them early on so they finicky now. The clones I started are in same tent with blooming autos and they getn heavy light early and maintaining. I usually start seedlings on 25% dim then 50% veg, 75% early bloom then full week 7 and 8. If they go longer I turn back down to 80%. Works gd for me but I'd like to try the full power from start. Been a few years since I did that. As a newbie I was full power the whole run. Now I got a point of reference of yield so I can see if it is beneficial to run it on max. Thanks for your post as always.

Whats the smoke like on some straight bagged soil and gaia grown bud vs soiless with bottled nutes
I use it along with bottles nutes, the only time i came close to a full run using just gaia i had to toss everything a few weeks before finish time.

Ive grown same strain 3 different ways, rdwc, coco and gaia.Taste difference was minimal. Some said the gaia was better but I couldn't tell.Only difference was gaia was an easier run with less problems.

@thctimmy looking nice man! What kind of teas do you brew? I’m trying to fine tune this method for a potential future run. Looking to just plain water, tea and top dress
Thank you.
5gal recipe
1 cup EWC
5 tbl unsupjered molasses
1/2 cup alfalfa
2/3 seabird guano
2/3 bat guano

I use Detroit Nutrient Company EWC, this is their recipe for flowering teas. Good luck!

Just curious, to me that seems like a shitload of dry amendments to put into a tea... How much do you give to each plant? And what do you do with the leftover guano/alfalfa/ewc sludge?

little less than half gal into a 5 gal. I get them a little moist then hit the tea. I haven't experimented on what to do w/ leftover, id love ideas

Not sure as I've never used any sort of teas myself. I was picturing 1+1/3 cups of guano for a single plant, but if you're making 5 gallons and using half a gallon per plant, that's more like 2 Tbs per plant, which seems comparable to how much you'd use for a top-dress.

I know for compost tea people say you can just put the leftovers right onto the soil, I don't see why you couldn't do the same for nutrient tea...? As long as you're not using more than you would for a typical top-dress...?

I should experiment putting the leftovers on one plant to see if it has any effect!

Week 5
Start to train them
Ph drop on the new mix runnof at 6.3ph compare to 6.8 in the reuse soil plant still look good but they are a little skinnier might give a tea spoon off lime to those in new promix ....
Ppm runnof at 4000 to 5000ppm!
Ph tap water at 7.8

Great thread to every1 involved before reading this i was already pretty confident growing with dry amendments but still learned so much in just the different ratios and timing of topdressings or lack their of and all still getting easy success just shows there is so many ways to grow this beauty plant
Cheers Growmies
