The wait!!! I flipped them to flower at 8 weeks. Now I have 8-12 more frigging weeks. I must sound spoiled. But I've yet found a photo that's worth double the grow time of an auto. They're beautiful just now flowering but dam!!!

I've never found an 8 week veg necessary unless I'm doing an indoor start for some outdoor monsters. 4 week veg with 4 plants and my 4x4 space is packed to the edges. why such a long veg?

I figured that was the best way to have thick sturdy branches and stems. I have 2 plants I had to super crop and tie down. The other 2 are more squat indica. So I figured 4 week veg under really good lights would really get them going but I learned a valuable lesson

I finish my photos in around 13 weeks from sprout on average.
I could never wait 8 weeks to flower.........they would be outgrowing my tent.........I switch at 3-4 weeks from sprout.
I don't have a tent. Just grow room 1500 true watts led. American made high-end lights. I vegged them around 30% intensity and took it to 40 before flipping

This is why I have two tents. I have photos in one and autos in the other. Hopefully, I can develop a rhythm where I grow an auto while the photos are vegging and another while they flower. Just gotta find the right strains.

I have 2 gorilla tents buy my house can't handle all the amps from the air conditioners needed. We're gonna run dedicated lines so i can have multiple grows I need 3 ac units dehumidifier 1500 watts of lights plus the rest of the house on 20 amp breakers. The ac units pull 15amps alone

At 8 weeks 2 we're around 5 feet after super cropping but I had 3 that grew a lot shorter I was hoping the sativa traits would show up like the other 2. My lights were at at 40 degree angle trying to keep them close enough to the shorties

The tall ones are tied down. Now. I have 9x4 coverage with all led bars fired up. Growcraft ChilLed Tech commercial leds have served me very well in the past

My tent is only 6' tall and usually flip to 12/12 at 25-30 days.

Even with a scrog, vertical space is always tight.

Vegging another 30 days would be a waste of resources without any increase in yield.

Good point. I have 8 feet of vertical space. With lights 7 plus. But I see your point. So my mistake was way too long veg

I run different strains every run. Shorties get set on paint cans to even things out.
