Snowden said he would come back to the US if the justice dept guaranteed a fair trial. The only thing they promised is that he won't be tortured while in custody.
It's not surprising that he chose to remain in exile...

Nothing to really report, was kind of a lame scene....just a few vintage puzzles (wife's mom) and some Blu-rays from GW, got a cheeseburger and shake from her family's place, drove around the city for a few hours, concluded with sitting in the car with the dogs while she went to buy overpriced $15 lotions. (Apparently 'on sale'....she's got dozens of varieties/scents at home, but ehh, maybe she's going for one of each.)

Note: I love how this thread is progressing.
