Honestly, that's a truly brilliant idea that I really wish I'd thought of. Having kept my fair share of fish, I'd think you could maybe just use your filter to pump your water for the changes somehow.. maybe a nice big tube into the bucket and actually save some of that water, too!

i use soil so when i do my water change i will just fill up all my gallon jugs :)

sorry for posting in your post! but from reading over some of these threads as of late, this site does have people just messing with people!( like all forums I guess) I shouldn't of snapped on buddy, so im sorry but you seemed so dead set on how It would be a bad idea.. Just in the way you said it.. I don't like people like that and I let it out, again sorry! won't happen again!!
