Old School Strains

Hi folks, I'm brand new to this site, new to growing marijuana, AND lol, believe it or not, basically new to using marijuana. There is only a very select group of strains I am interested in growing and would love to hear from people on what the popular strains were from the 1960's and the 1970's. I have a list started now after months of research and narrowed them down. I'm also currently researching a list of OLD strains that were used frequently in the 1920s and the 1930s. (Although I'm sure it was just whatever had been brought up from Mexico and quite random) This list from the 1920s and 30's has been quite challenging and I cannot seem to find anything on what strains were popular. If anyone has any info on the eras mentioned, I would much appreciate their feedback!!!!!!!!

Columbian gold
Mexican red hair
acapulco gold
Malawi
Thai

Believe me when I used to score a “ lid “ of raggedy looking brown stemmy street weed , I thought it was the shit ! Lol.
As stated , you have to do some sleuthing to find some of the OG cuts. I managed to keep Malawi but that shit can run a grow 15-16 weeks for a proper Sativa.

ACE Seeds has quite few older school strains. Cannabiogen has a couple Mexican offerings along with some Columbian and a few others from that region.
