Hi and welcome to all. I'm starting this thread because not all of us have lots of money. I absolutely do not believe that you need the newest lm301h LED diodes to get great results. There were people getting great results years ago..
So I would like anybody who has experience with older and or Off barnd like Cinese cobs or LED strip technology and as had great results to please share in this thread. 2016/2017 and earlier if possible.
Things like Watts ,type of LED, the year,
Grams per watt , yield , and the space it was in. Or any information that pertains to such especially if you ask pictures please post. I am greatly interested in creating a discussion on this topic and assume others are as well. Thank you for your time let's create a great and informative thread.

Assuming you're talking white light and not blurple, the primary change the last few years is improved efficiency, maybe around 5% annually?
LM301B/H definitely aren't needed for great results, they are just more efficient.

so you achieved 12 ounces for the 200 watt sf2000 light or thirty ounces from 200 watts ?

Good eye, 10-12 for single plant with not much training. I’ve heard all the way to 2g per watt with them on a single plant

OP are youu talking aboout DIY or boought plug and play lights?
If youre looking for diy and saving some money check out lm561c and lm281b diode based boards, you can have them foor cheap.
As for store bought led growlights from 2016 available at good prices in shops, really slim pickings; they dont seem to drop in price really.
