So you're right, I thought the last time that stuff happened was just a few years ago. However, it's impossible for anyone to argue that our country and the world at large does not have a serious energy problem. I find it funny that out of all the things I said, you quote the one thing that was wrong and say that I have no idea about what I'm talking about. Take a moment to think about the bigger picture and you'll see I'm far from ignorant. Gas in my area is 4.15-4.35$ per gallon for 87 octane and that's fairly common for the rest of this country. The oil in the middle east IS RUNNING OUT and there is A LOT LESS than about 99% of people realize. Your state has a serious smog problem, in LA especially. Yet here this genius is running over 10,000 watts and thinking he has serious skillz for growing big plants. If he was smart, he would stick to a sog setup and if he did have serious skills, he would do a vertical grow as well. Maybe he could show how smart he is and develop a program to automatically adjust the pH and nutrients to keep them at the optimum level or try pushing the technological envelop by making and testing LED lights (like Steve and others over at Greenpinelane.com) which will be the light source of the future. However he does none of this, yet he talks as if he's god's gift to growing.

This is the first time I've talked bad about anyone on a grow site, ever. Talking shi$ like he does has no place on this site, and that's why I responded. After this post I'll unsubscribe to this thread.

i have never heard a grower get bashed by a fellow grower because he uses to much power. doesn't the fact that he is growing plants help? don't plants help "cleanse" the air.

i pointed out the one thing you were wrong about because you were wrong about it. you're trying to tell me what's happening in my front yard. i live here, i know. :mrgreen:


i just filled my truck. i paid $4.53 a gallon. my truck gets 6 MPG. i love it. :hump::hump:

Then you must also love giving money to terrorists and polluting our environment because that's what you're doing. His nine plants is in no way making up for the more than 10,000 watts of power that he is using. I apparently must tell you what's going on in your own front yard because you don't seem to have a clue about it(besides the blackouts which you can directly experience). If you were to read my whole post and think about it, you would know that I'm not bashing him for simply using a bunch of power. I'm bashing him for his shi! talking, and for his use of a gross and utterly unnecessary amount of power. One day, you might feel a little differently about your gas guzzling truck if a friend or a loved one were to die in a war to fill it's tank.

Hell, last time I went to a buffet I threw away random food. Starving kids are there? Yeah, but my meal only costed 9$ and farmers need demand also. The American economy's is based upon waist, just how it goes.

I skimmed through the entirety of this thread and read the important parts but he posted like 2-4 pictures of this crazy grow. Other people posted better growing pictures then him, to kudos tot hem. Thats awesome but you are wasting some serious energy. But, its CALIFORNIA. Personally, I'm a Floridian we probably almost rival you guys but if he didn't waste it, someone else would. There are a lot more ways to be more efficient. He obviously doesn't care for that, so lay off. We never saw a dry a yield and we probably wont, no big deal. You've seen and can easily search 'arena grow' where people get a ton of cannabis. It makes sense, the more light, the more weight. 10,000 watts can generate a fuck-load of bud. Quit all the internet griping. Inevitably, there are a lot of underage kids on here who post stupid shit and it just starts a mass shit-talking forest fire. My biggest issue on forums is literacy, not even gullibility. I'm a moderator on a big Florida drifting forum(you guys talk about your basic SRs and kouki's, man up and break it) and there are the same exact people there, too.

do do do you all need to think, ive grown soil for over 7 years, i just switched to hydro, with hydro my plant shot up to 3 ft tall in 3 weeks than it was put in flower then it shot up to 7 ft tall and produced massive weight on 3 weeks veg HyDro is the key here from what ive seen it's totally possible dont be stupid 15 pounds can be done on 12 plants indoors its all about how much room you have if you got the room you could grow some 1.5lb. monsters no problem oh and YouTube - Devil went down to jamacia

Is it that you MUSTexpress your veiw on the enviroment everywhere you post at,ride your moped to your greenhouse & leave others alone.

Not all electricity is produced by terrorists. In the US, 20 percent is nuclear and there's hydro, wind, sun (not much of those yet) and the biggest electricity producer of all, coal, which is ripped out of the ground by good ol' boys here in the US. I know for sure that my own electricity comes from coal and nuclear power, no terrorists involved. California runs electrical plants with oil? If so, whoever owns those plants will have to charge a buttload for electricity and will either go out of business soon or convert to something cheaper, most likely coal.

I'm against polluting our environment, as any rational person should be. But I'm not necessarily against using gobs of electricity. We just need to produce it with cleaner methods. Nuclear is fine with me. If France can convert their entire electricity supply to nuclear, I see no reason why we can't do the same. They were just smart two or three decades before us. Nuclear waste might pollute a tiny chunk of underground Nevada for a few million years, but it won't destroy the planet with global warming.

Anyway, nice grow!

I never said that any of the power plants used oil...If you read what I wrote and what others wrote CLOSELY you would know that when I mentioned terrorists, it was in reference to Fdd's gas guzzling truck that gets six miles to the gallon and the fact that he buys his gas from Chevron. You just said yourself that you're against polluting the environment but only twenty percent comes from nuclear power. Obviously if you use gobs of energy, you will be polluting the environment through your use of electricity powered by coal burning plants.
