umm... you do understand the science behind condensation trails right? think about how ineffective it would be if the chemicals that they are supposedly spraying stayed together in a small cloud. not to mention how many people would have to be involved to pull something like that off. most of the the things they discussed are theoretical and have not been put into any sort of real life application. to achieve most of it the chemicals would have to be released so high in the atmosphere that we would never see the delivery system.

some people give the government too much credit, they aren't nearly as organized as they would like us to think they are. the science may be possible but the application would be incredibly infeasible. like Chunky said, if the government were capable of this we would never have drought, Katrina would have just been another storm. as far as the snow goes, aluminum foundries spew clouds of exhaust into the atmosphere, id be more concerned about those than some secret government conspiracy. would the Gulf of Mexico be full of oil right now if the government could control the weather?

The government might not but farmers seed clouds all the time to try and change humidity and temperature. They launch super fine particles of silver or aluminum up into lower cloud cover. It's very common, a lot of fruit tree farmers will do it to try and keep their crops from frosting and ruining if they get a cold snap.

No so sure about this vapor trail stuff though, I've heard about this conspiracy theory before and so far it's unfounded as far I can tell. The science behind it just doesn't add up to it being able to make any real changes...but then again, nothing surprises me anymore. =)
