On my 2nd run with a QB LED board, and I am still getting leafs that loose color in between their veins

Hey RIU! I am here to ask about an issue I have had now across 2 grows. Some of the fan leaves start to lighten up between their veins, which appears to (me anyway) be an early sign of CalMag. The issue seems to effect lower growth first. I am growing under a 200w QB LED board, and I have read that LED's in particular require more CalMag supplementation. I think that this could potentially be my issue, but I have fed the plants CalMag one feeding prior to the feeding I gave just yesterday (which also included CalMag).

Here are some details:
-200W QB LED @ 100% intensity
-Fox Farms Ocean Forrest w/ dolomite lime and perlite
-Temps: 76-79f degrees / RH: 45-52%
-Strain: Bruce Banner

Currently my second run is in week 2 of flower. I transplanted the plants into their final container about 6 weeks ago now, and have not fed them up until mid last week since the FFOF is a bit hot. The plants overall are seem healthy and have grown a quite a bit in pre-flower aside from the issue above.

My last two feedings have been the following (I water feed water):

I always water or feed between 6.4ph - 6.6ph. I am using tap water with very little calcium per my cities water report.

First Feeding (reduced down to about 25%) - 340ppm:
-3ml CalMag
-3.5ml Fox Farms Big Bloom
-2ml Grow Big

Second Feeding (bumped up the PPM) - 590ppm:
-4ml CalMag
-2ml FF Grow Big
-3.5ml FF Big Bloom
-2ml Tiger Bloom

I am in week 2 of pre-flower, so I have not yet phased out Nitrogen. Waiting until my next feeding into week 3 to reduce the N and up the Tiger Bloom for PK. My plan is to slowly raise the feed PPM to 900-1000ppm come week 4 of flower. I have been supplementing CalMag as you can see above for the past two feedings, but it seems as if my issue described above hasn't slowed down. It is a very subtle fade in between the leaf veins, but it is still there and has been for the past two runs. I am beginning to think that I possibly need to boost the CalMag due to my QB, but I would like some reassuring advice on the matter because I had a plant last run get N tox due to my CalMag supplementing (which was a first time mistake on my part). Its 2-0-0, so it gives some N. As result, I am a bit hesitant with the nutrients. I really want to figure out why this has been a persistent issue across two grows now. Another part of me thinks maybe its the FFOF and that it's just not supplementing enough of something while I am in that initial 4-5 weeks of no feeding.

That's not a light issue, it's a feed issue

What % of the fox farm nutes are u running
Suggested Calmag amount is plenty, don't go nuts with it. If yer using tap water you don't need a huge amount of Calmag

I'd say get a PK booster like liquid koolbloom for flower
And check your pH of your feeding, the soil may be out of it's buffering so be sure yet nute mix is in a good pH zone

Hey thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention the PH of my feedings. Typically I PH down to around 6.4-6.6ph for all feedings and waterings. I am using tap as well, but my water report shows a very low amount of calcium in the supply.

The first feeding with these nutrients was about 25% of the recommended. I started off light to make sure the FFOF wasn't still hot and the plants could handle any additional nutrients. Regarding your mention of a PK booster, are you suggesting I bump the PK? Which makes sense because this issue I have had this and last run seemed to show up in early flower now that I think about it from this angle.

You need to up your feeding, hit 50% for a couple feeds, see if it contains it, then work up slowly
Thanks mate, I can do that. I mentioned I had that N tox with a plant on my last run, and that has conditioned me to under-feed I suppose. I'll bump the next feeding up to 700-800ppm and see how that goes for me. Appreciate the insight! Happy growing.
