One girl is lagging and not looking well, can't seem to diagnose the problem

I have 6 girls going that are currently almost 2 weeks from seed. 5 of them seem to be doing well, but one little lady has stunted growth and today I noticed some chalky marks on the leaves.

Thoughts? Thank you!

Pic of the stunted one and pic of one of the other 5 for comparison.

I've seen that look before(blotchy leaves) but I'm not sure what causes it. I would keep it anyway, it could grow out of it. Just because it's a runt doesn't mean it's a bad plant.
Okay, that gives me hope! I'll just keep loving her and hope she comes along.

Mine are doing the same thing. I planted my germinated seeds directly in my 3 gallon pots they'll be in 'till harvest. One of them broke the surface about 3 days before the other one did. They're at three weeks now, and plant 1 (that broke through first) is just light years ahead of plant 2. That's OK though. They'll get there. Here's my two little ones at week 3. Plant 2 was just topped a day ago:

Its aldo been raining like cats and dogs for the past month almost EVERYDAY. Like wtf next 5 days are 70% + precipitation AND im using synthetic ferts so tht aint helping.
This is my first year being serious with it and if i learned anything its

If your not in hydro dont use synthetic nutes too much hassle and things that can go wrong

not true. the more water you run through organic, the more nutrients you release, which fucks up ph, distribution and uptake.

if you go organic, never let your shit get overwatered, unless you want these ph, tox and def probs. you have no control over decomposition, only frequency of watering.

soap won't help, not a bug. more macros made it worse. lots of rain, early release of nutes, and that's your problem.

and flushing will only make it worse. you need to let it dry out.
if you can...

Im in synthetic right now with this baby. I think the rain may be washing out my synthetics. Or causing ph swings

But im glad you told me this. I didn't know this about ss... So how am i supposed to grow in Ss outdoors when it rains alot???

you pray. if all you get are funky leaves, you're lucky. that much moisture links to bud rot and powdery mildew, as well as attracting pests, like mites, aphids, fungus gnats, caterpillars, and bud worms...

I think i will get a plasic lid and cut it so that a cit leads up to a good sized hole in the middle for my trunk, and put that over my 50gal's.
As for pests im gonna use neem oil
And bt sprays for budworms

if it's esp rainy, you can make a shield to place around the stem, overlapping the pot (like a satellite dog collar). this will make 90+% of the rain run off, and not go through soil.

remember. if you are using soil (happy frog, right? mycos and orgs....) and adding chem nutes, you're double whammying... the supersoil doesn't need help, and chem salts are mostly hydro app, and don't mix well with organics (imo).

and every time you water, your soil is rotting and feeding. this happens with rain too.

Take a cheap umbrella, a radiator hose clamp, and a wooden stake or piece of steel rod. Hammer the steak/rod a good depth into the ground about a foot away from your plant. Use the radiator hose clam and clamp the handle of the cheap umbrella to the steak. Open the umbrella. Voila! Instant roof for your plant.

So for anyone who's interested in an update, the problem was fungus gnats. The smaller plant was further from the light/fan and the soil was drying out slower, which brought upon the gnats. I sprinkled diatomaceous earth over the soil and place yellow sticky cards along with moving the fans around in my tent to help the topsoil stay dry and the problem seems to be resolved. She is still growing!
