One Plant, One Tent .. Ind. or Sat.

It depends on what kind of high you like. If you want a more energetic high go with a sativa, if you want more of a couch lock then go with indica.

Why only 1 in a 4x4? Thats going to take quite a bit of veg time to fill that space.

I started off with 9 plants my first run in the 4x4, Now im down to 5, Next ill do 2 and after that I plan to do 1. I follow a guy on youtube ZP Homegrows and I just love how his 4x4 looked with one massive plant. Call it an experiment.

But im thinking more about the growth rate, do you think a sativa will fill the tent quicker?
Do you think an indica will take longer but yield more?

Depends on strain, lights, environment etc.

Go with something you'd like. Most modern "sativas" grow more compact compared to a landrace. Are you running perpetual, or vegging and flowering 1 tent?

I have a small 2x2 for veg
If you have space, I'd suggest a 3x3 for veg to go with your 4x4. With a 2x2 veg, you will need something that stretches in flower. Maybe look to Bhodi's hashplant to sativa crosses. Or blue dream, white widow, etc. Theres a lot out there. What strains do you like to smoke?

Have fun with that.

With HP's or CMH I would presently grow lemon kix from Dutch Passion for autos or super silver/lemon haze as fem/regs and allow it to spread and stretch more like a sativa.

With led I'd prefer a shorter indica say kritical kush as those two strains have been big movers in the last year so why not the combined genetics in one well bred strain. A few banks hold this so RQS or Barney's but look around for the best reviews and purchase there first. A lot of indica autos flower too quick to fill a big tent, I'd doubt a sativa would fully fill one as an auto either so would suggest four plants if you choose the indica auto route.

Of course there could be a lot of answers but this would be a popular current selection

Doesn't look like ill be able to order from any of those seedbanks. I've been having trouble finding a good online seedbank in the U.S.
