One Time Fertilizer?

Ok I'm a Seedsman on regular Grain Crops.

Been involved in Breeding ,Pest and such.

Farmed many years. When I planted a crop it was Fertilized at planting.

You know this is coming why can't you do the same with the girls?

Well people do all the time. It's called organic farming. Have you looked into the organic section? There's slow released salts to but you loose a lot of control. Cannabis is more picky than cucumbers and potatoes when it comes to nutritional needs.

But I mean people just buy pre amended soils and only do transplants and plain water from start to finish, that's how I started out.

I know it's about the bloom it just seems strange being more picky.

Using General Hydroponics and Cal- Mag then Mag- Sulfur after Bloom.

Really what I'm wanting is an all around feed that I can use on my regular Garden and the Girls.

Been using Happy Frog but going to switch to Sunshine 4. Was told at Grow Shop Sunshine 4 is good.

Talked with another Grower said she has been using Pro Mix BX for years and not adding anything. Still scratching my head.

I used to do water-only grows but was never happy with the quality. Always needing more sulfur or potassium, guano etc.

Check this out

We've used time release for years and years outdoors. First it was osmocote then heavy harvest from advanced,... Too exp then we used yield master, then nutri+ dagda, and also the green planet one.
You can just goto a farm store, and buy a huge bag of time release, diff npk values you can choose from.

I'm the guy that has to fix.

My wife if it's not broke don't fix it.

So Happy Frog and General Hydroponics it is. Oh and a yes dear.

Anyone use Happy Frog General Fertilizer?

Gaia green 444 top dress all I use. No problem. All organic, great ingredients.

I went to Rainbow Pro Mix. Figure use the Grow first starting then go with Bloom.

My Son is mad at me because I have couple varieties I haven't used up. This coming from a person that never feeds.

osmocote in potting soil or outdoors in soil. The 3month version in potting soil.

Ever check the heavy metal contents of Gaia? It's pretty high. Organic is just a buzz word. Just because it says organic doesn't mean it's good for you. You could have organic arsenic....it'll still kill you just the same as the reg stuff.

Used to use the '90' we would call it on corn Feild grows. Didn't have to go back and make trails or be scouted. Worked great.

that is how I started to grow outdoor too. Down to Earth and soil. The grow store called it the “stacking method”. It works.

I think this'll answer your question. Sounds to me like it's outdoor. So, the answer is, you'll definitely need to it when needed, I always encourage feeding nutrition in or out. I'm mean, if you're going to do it, do it right. Principles.
These babies are very adapt to outdoor, obviously.
But that shouldn't hinder your duty, to do it right.
Or not at all.
