I get the same thing on some of my ladies after the flip Cap. Never did figure out what it was but the plants seem to adapt to it and usually just affects some fan leaves.

Thats a magnesium deficiency bruv... calcium is more spoty and speckled to mine... I would treat both sides

Epsom salts would probably work better as a foliar
I gave them both a dolomite and epsom salt foliar. I've never had a plant show that with my soil mix. What's your prescription doc, should I treat them to some more foliars? I'll give them some CaMg+ when I water tomorrow.

Also for mediums like that a good molasses will cover that and other additional micros. The plantation blackstrap is ~20% Ca and Mg. What I would use when needed, typically when using straight RO water.

Just another option.

I usually give them molasses and benies every 2 to 3 weeks, maybe it's just this new strain.

Anytime things get like that in my room I do a flush to reset everything. Always seems to be the fastest..easiest way to fix an imbalance. Must be a finicky strain..gotta love those

Aerated compost tea flush with microbe mans recipe...get those leaves reaching up

Then again..I've never seen a bad grow of yours so don't let me screw it up..lol

I would wait it out................your soil mix is good?? so just plain water(added beni bacs is always helpful) and see if it progresses/spreads to new growth before adding anything IMO. ROLS usually corrects itself this early into a run, could be just a minor imbalance in your SFW.

Too much mag will really give you issues, careful............and NO diluted V&B if possible

Ok,I'm beginning to put together some PAR numbers for the lights on two heights 18" and 24". I did this to try and quickly find the sweet spot for the height above a scrog in a 3'x3' tent. I made a 3'x3' cardboard grid to take the readings and took these readings in a open space. This is not scientific and the readings may not be right on,but should be close enough for what I want them for. First it's a budget meter, second I took the readings in a open space and it doesn't measure the light that would be reflected back from the walls of the tent back onto the perimeter of the scrog. Third the measurements of the set up are not perfect.(I don't have the extra time to make everything as accurate as possible)

First the RW-150,with some rough calculations of the 80 degree lenses and the lay out of the LEDs I think it would have to be at least 15" above the screen for any direct light to reach all the edges of a 3'x3' space.

C. 500
D. 380
E. 285
F. 260
G. 150
H. 130
I. 110
J. 55

Since this is a scrog and I won't need a lot of penetration it looks like 24" for the RW-150 would give me the best overall spread for my 3'x3' and I think the daily rotation of the light should help even out the coverage. Hope I got all the numbers in the right place, made a change in the lettering half way through the readings,if I didn't it doesn't affect the overall picture I'm looking for.

Here are the Onyx numbers,I added a 26" set because the outer edges at 24" were still pretty low and the 26" may be the best height for this scrog to get the perimeter enough light. Plus the numbers should be higher in the tent because of the reflected light off the walls.

I'm thinking 24" for the RW-150 and 26" for the Onyx,any thoughts?

Measure the width of the fan leaf blades closest to you

Effects of spectral difference. Probably more red nms

I mentioned it earlier, the one under the RW was always the smaller plant of the two until a couple weeks ago when it had a huge growth spurt and hasn't slowed down, may be the reason for the deficiency. It now has a noticeably larger main stem and the branches are heavier too, this started before they went under the flower lights and seems to be continuing.

From your pics, you can tell already which has the better overall coverage.....by looking at the new growth

Yea I'm a little worried this will skew the results if this growth from the one doesn't slow down. They have been treated exactly the same from the start and the one that seemed a little behind is now kicking ass and it main stem is now 1/8" bigger than the other, 11/16" vs 9/16". This growth spurt started under veg lights maybe two weeks before flower so it's hard to attribute it to the RW-150.
