Oops! Snapped one of my branches while bending 'em down from the stretch...

I was working in my closet this a.m., and I've been on 12/12 for a week and a half now, so there's been the usual stretch on all of my beauties. So, while trying to bend one of the taller branches, it snapped on me, and I was like, "Damn it all!" I made the break a clean cut, used some rooting hormone, and re-planted it in an open area in another container in my flowering closet, as the "broken" branch has begun to flower. My question is, will it survive if I leave it with the rest of it's sisters or did I just lose one of my kolas? I hate it when I make stupid ass mistakes like this one! I mean, out of six really healthy, lush ladies, one kola won't make a huge difference in my overall end result, nut it's one of those things that just gets under a grower's skin and is upsetting, u know?

I decided to cut my small loss, and I moved it into my trusty ol' tricked out phototron/veg/seedling chamber, and I suppose leaving it on 18/6 would be most beneficial for re-rooting. I guess i answered my own question...any input, suggestions, or advice would still be most welcome tho. Thanks guyz.

This happened to me with an outdoor plant during flowering. I arrived to find the plant all effed up, and the top was broken off. The curious part, is the the top was sitting upright in the soil, already rooted and growing as a new plant. I think whether or not you revert to 18/6, the odds of it "re-rooting" are pretty good. This is just based on one experience I had. Hope that helps.

Next time tape it together using duct tape or something. It will continue to grow if you catch it right away. The lower half would continue to grow and flower even if the top half was lost and you were unable to tape it in time.

happens to the best of us, no point in letting it bug you. i think you should of just taped it or if it was ripped at where the branch connects to the stem pushing the break/rip back into 1 piece and held the pieces in place then circled it with super glue and held it for 30-60 seconds is what i do .(ive done it multiple times, it is perfectly fine. most of the time i dont see much slowdown of growth on the ripped ones at all when doing so and after a few days the cola that was ripped seems like nothing happened almost.) oh well, no biggie.
