OOPS! WTF did I do?

First DWC attempt using homemade RDWC. All plants are drinking from the same solution. 3 plants look great and 1 plant is doing this. Oddly enough, there are two plants of this strain and the other looks great, although it is a bit smaller.

These guys were left alone for 8 days with only occasional water topoff in the feeding reservoir.
This is what they look like after 8 days:

I normally grow in Hempy buckets and have never had anything like this happen before.

Is this thing salvageable?

ph 5.9
1450ppm
GH 3-part nutes with a touch of calmag+
Room temp 71F/lights on, 63F/lights off
solution temp 60F

Call the fire department! They're burning up!!!

It will be ok, drain half of your solution and refill with 6.0 water. Double check your water temps and make sure light is not touching the roots. The damage won't heal, but they can grow out of it and still be worthy. Remember to check your ph daily, and try not to go over 1200ppm until the last 2-4 weeks depending on your strain.

ps, never chase ph. alter moderately, and give up if you can't get perfect in one sitting.

Thanks Grnmn. Ph @ 6, 600PPM, hope that stops it. When should I start bumping up nutes? It would be a PITA but I could do a bucket flush. Would that stop the death/curling?

Curling is hurt, not death. Flushing whilst in turmoil is essentially overwatering in addition to your current ailments. The leaves will never recover, but they will still live to do their job. Don't fret, everything will end wonderfully.

Once new growth begins to show paleness (first leaves will grow normally, then quite well, then start to seem yellowishgreen) it will be ok to use fertilizer. Remember though, too little is perfect; too much can be a serious problem.

GH is very forgiving on the plants.. how come they got burned so badly? Have you thought about a K def Lock?
