Hello All,
I have been thinking lately about ways I can make a bunch of crosses that interest me, while still maintaining my legal plant count, without taking years in the process...
And I came to the conclusion of an open pollination tent. Much to my delight, Gage Green Seeds has a project called "bastards series" doing this very thing.
Basically I want to take 3 really strong, amazing mothers I have, and put them in a room with 3 or so selected studs of different varieties.
And, I was wondering if anyone else has done this, or considered, and if so any thoughts or advice for such a project.
The 6 strains I am thinking to cross in this manor are:
Jack Herer (female, indica dom cash crop pheno)
Cheese Quake (female)
Black Ghani (female, Black Domina X Afhani #1)
Reclining Buddha (male, SOMA)
Arctic Fallout (male, ChemDog 91 X Snow Lotus)
Medicine Man (male, Mr Nice, AKA White Rhino)
My biggest question is, would it be more logical to harvest pollen on each male individually and then dust them,
or just throw them all in a tent, and let nature work things out?
