Had to kill one of the OG as it started herming and throwing out balls.
It's okay, as I liked the pheno that didn't herm better. Looks to be pulling more of the Sour which is what I wanted.
The CC is still growing like a champ, both are beginning to throw out pistils and the stretch has begun.

The plant is filling out the SCROG (5' wide with 3 1/2" squares).
And here's the same plant in profile so you can see how it's pushing up the netting.
I haven't done any topping or defoliation. I'll do some of both starting next week. I'm pretty happy with how the plant has spread and how well I've been able to control its height -- this one is 30" tall at max which is nearly unchanged from it's height when it went into the ground a month ago.

Looking good everyone. Getting on toward midsummer, here in coastal Maine we're stuck on a broken record of rain, drizzle, fog, more rain, fog, etc. Haven't had much blue sky here for going on 10 days. Plants are doing well but I did just discover my second incidence of root issues in a couple of the hemp plants, presumably from all the moisture. Got me a little concerned...might need to move those fabric pots under cover at this point so they get a chance to dry out.

Glad to see someone growing Pine Tar Kush! It does great outdoors here, still never found another strain that has such a piney aroma. Where did you get those seeds?

You've grown it before sounds like? What were the results?
I chose it because I thought it might finish reasonably early and has that rugged Afghanistan/Pakistan mountain lineage. Plus I was intrigued by the terpene profile...
These seeds came from some guys running an operation out of Vancouver Island, https://islandlifeseeds.ca/.
I've run it outdoors 2 different years and did a seed run indoors once. I'm in Oklahoma, but my first run, a single 8 foot plant finished in late Sept. It was very sticky and very piney, buds were large but not super dense. NIce smoke, surprisingly cerebral. The second outdoor grow one of the plants was very dark colored, as was the plant indoors for my seed run. Turns out my source had actually acquired the seeds from Tom Hill around 20 years ago, and kept an inbred line, before passing some on to me.

Same here. Ridiculous. Another 2” last night. Haven’t watered once since my plants went into the 30 gal pots a month ago. Hoping the weather breaks soon…

Plants look great all things considered. I have some fabric pots on pallets. I'm not sure that would've helped your root issue with all the rain, but it is another obstacle for bugs and slugs to climb.
Yeah, this shit is ridiculous. If i didn't work outside for a living, I wouldn't even bother checking the forecast. I haven't one plant outside yet, but I usually dont til this time of year anyways. Probably a good thing, all my planters are sunk deep enough to hit groundwater, they'd surely be drowned and choked out with root rot by now.
Crazy too, weather was so good in April and May my way. I got so much done around the house.
Best of luck to all the wet New England growers, your plants look great for no sun.

Here are some of mine. Dealing with gout and so these were a surprise to see for myself today. Sadly my dogs chewed up all my stakes for labels and got to my CBG plant. It is struggling to grow after their mauling but is still very much alive. Topped remaining plants as well as did some training today as well.
