It's starting to get real!
Chopped 4 colas off the OG Sour today because of rot. From past experiences I'm pretty aggressive and chop 6" below it. Hoping I caught it in time and it's not everywhere.
The Cherry Cheetah had a small spot a month ago, haven't seen anymore since. It's a little harder to see, with the buds turning purple but my fingers are crossed because she looks and smell like fire!

Harvested one of the Northern Lights on Saturday morning. Looks like maybe a week of great New England fall weather coming up with warm sunny days and chilly nights, going to let the other Northern Lights, the Pine Tar Kush, and the Gold Warp carry on for another week.

Yes this is perfect bud-ripening weather. I still see the occasional spot of rot here and there, I cut it out immediately but it's nothing like last week.

Taking the second Northern Lights at dawn tomorrow, then eyeing the Gold Warp (thanks @thumper60!) for Friday or Saturday. Pine Tar Kush looking like it needs another week or so.

Harvest moon Friday! Better mark the occasion with a ceremonial fattie at moonrise...

Thanks! Had to cut the main cola of my Cheetah today, full of mold.
I'm thinking about going your route next year and doing light depo. Need to read up on it first.
I think iam going veg some 24-7 with lights outdoor till july 1 , then kill the lights should trigger them to flower. I have moved plants in-out to flower all summer for yrs. This chasing a fall harvest with no control is really not working these days needs to be top notch or ya wasting time.:bigjoint:

Interesting....outdoor photoperiods will flower July 1 if you use artificial lighting in June? Always thought there had to be a minimum number of hours of darkness to get them to flower.

Took down the other Northern Lights today. Can't wait to sample some, haven't had this strain before (at least not that I know of...probably ran across it without knowing the name back in the eighties, guess it was quite common).

Was today's weather as weird over your way as it was here? Cloudless sky but a thick blanket of wildfire smoke made it so you could hardly make out the sun. Sky was milky white. Last night we had an almost-full moon but no moonlight because of all the smoke. A bit creepy...we might be seeing a lot more of this in coming years.

Even though there has been no rain, the black gorilla has a lot of rot now, I had seen a couple spots but there's more now, as usual in the biggest buds. The green crack had only 1 small spot,,, the strawberry chees cake looks perfect, the buds are dense but not as big.
