im doing a tiny bit of LST.. just to get some exposure to lower nodes..
just wondering everyones opinion.. should i tie this plant down at all or is it fine as is.. I just topped all of em 3 days ago . this one TO ME appears to be really good genes and bushy and even topped by nature.. sooo idk if it should still be tied down or left to be.. I actuallt did a variety mix n match here soo idk if its purple kush, la confidential, lemon kush, or oddly added.. amnesia haze.

The one pictured is quite short. Nothing wrong with that but LSTing that particular one will be difficult. You'll have to remove leaves pulled down onto your medium.

My opinion is tuck the big leaves and let the side-branching take over, probably could tie these down later when the plants gets larger

ty guys.. im just letting em bush out.. idk what i did.. maybe fimmed? but the sides are as tall if not taller than the original apex lol. i tied 1 plant down because it was about 2x as tall as the rest (thought male until it preflowered lol) ...but otherwise just doing as suggested and swiping fan leaves to the side as needed. ty once again.

yea just topped it and it like didnt grow up just out lol
Topping and fimming both promote lower growth, not upper growth. These techniques are used to break apical dominance and as a result, you will see more growth from the lower portions of your plant.

You can research why topping and fimming do what they do for a more precise and scientific explanation.
