is it ok to go straight to 12/12 with seedlings I read on a forum that with this set up you could be harvesting within 7 weeks and you dont need more than 2' of growth space for much of the growth will be lateral growth, any thoughts or experiences welcomed? take a look at my jock horror seedling's they sprouted in less than 48 hrs.

I can't see that working, considering a change in photoperiod(day and night times) is what makes it flower. Also, switching it from 12/12 to something with less than 12 hours, 10/14 or something, would be like planting them in september and harvesting them in january. just doesn't seem right.

before u worry about that plan i suggest potting those seedlings seperatley, sooner the better... it will save u many headaches... i've also read that if seedlings arent veg'd long enough they wont be as potent when harvested.. not sure on that fact tho, would love some to confirm/dispel that rumor

The plant has to be mature to go into flower or it may die. You can go 12/12 with clones as soon as they root as they come from a mature plant so even though they may be 3 days old they were cut from a 4 week old or more mome so genetically they are 4 weeks or however old the mom was.

i've read about this for micro grows as well i another forum. they seem to go straight to 12/12 to keep the plants small and to tell the sex asap. from the pics and grow reports they post it seems to work for their intended purposes.
