Ordering HID by mail safe?

was wondering if it would be safe to order an HID light and have it delivered to your house by mail?

It would probably come by UPS or FedEx, maybe have to give a signature. i wonder if someone could track it, or know what it is, etc. and cause a problem?

plus you would have to pay by credit card or something that leaves a trail.

has anyone ever done this or know someone who has?

not sure if it would be safe, but if there was no other option to getting an HID...?

It is a perfectly legal product to own, and purchase. If your worried make sure your supplier uses discreet shipping, which most do.

Its not the lights that can get you busted. I know plenty of people who have ordered and still order all kinds of grow equipment, nutes, fans, ect. through the mail and I have never heard of the cops busting down doors for that stuff. I wouldn't worry about it at all man.

just don't order seeds....feds all over those sites but I ordered lights, carbon filters , duct, fans,etc like a mothaf*k n maybe got an eye brown raised from my neighboors, looked like santa dropped off new appliances at my house in large used boxes thank God I was home lol

seeds and equipment are perfectly safe to purchase. dont let peoples myths scare you off. ive never heard of anyone being busted for buying seeds or equipment online. hydro stores now....thats a different story. stay away from the hydro stores and you have no worries. get your grow on my friend!

^^ It's true. I think people get a bit paranoid.

Maybe its dumb, but I have bought every single grow related item from the internet, and had it shipped to my home address where I grow. Every tent, filter, fan, HID lamp, nutrient, I get off eBay. All my seeds come from Attitude or Sannies. I probably have 2-4 grow items a month come in the mail, for years now.

Not one problem.

What is wrong with hydro stores??? lol I go to two hydro stores here, one of the owner is ma homy and the other store sells clones next door...Onestop shop and I always pay CASH....Anyways, I had a friend order seed and it got confiscated before... thought it may not happen often,but two men did show up n knocked on his door lol they told him they were looking for someone else but it was a weird situation he said, he never seem them before either, Not saying this would lead to arrest anytime soon and you don't have to answer the door either but if they don't see a huge stretchy grow-ops and all is in compliance, there was a huge issue with that with Marc Emery guy over little seeds from Canada n feds locked him up, lots of more bs in that story but I said stay in compliance and there is nothing to worry about.

Yeah, order all the stuff you want. i get everything from the internet. And there are a few peeps who grow things other than MJ indoors. I grow tomatoes with my girls.

A couple years ago, I purchased some Bamboo seeds on ebay from a guy in india. Within two weeks, I was contacted by a federal agent, who confiscated the seeds. Don't deceive yourselves. Big brother knows what we do; In the case of grow equipment and seeds, it could be that they wait and watch, hoping you will go big and stash a bunch of cash which they will be happy to confiscate.

Probably the smartest thing to do is not grow at the same place you have equipment delivered to. In my case, I have everything delivered to my house, but I grow at another location.
