A couple of weeks ago I placed an order with DC Seed Exchange, payment was easy and was getting almost immediate responses from the people there. Seeds arrived quickly. Last week decided to try the Black Friday specials at Oregon Elite Seeds. COMPLETE different experience. Placed the order, but had to send cash or money order, and give the tracking number within 72 hours of ordering. I got a money order, went to the post office and mailed it off and texted the tracking to the phone number OES said to text. It was the weekend so the auto-reply let me know they were closed. I sent them a message anyway, and again the next day asking to verify they received my tracking number to make sure my order is going through. No reply again. Do not waste your money at seedbanks who think they're above answering customers. DCSE is a much better seedbank and way less sketchy.

neptune has come crazyyyy Danks, check out the auctions and be prepared to laugh
I grabbed my Purple Punch from Neptune auctions....paid $300 for a $150 pack however, Symbiotic's Purple Punch is impossible to find unless you find them in an auction. I know Fireside sells the packs for like $300-350 on Strainly.

Green point seeds they are a breeder that sells direct not a seed bank. has lots of pp crosses if that’s your thing and PP s1 they can usually all be had for under 100 closer to 60 with sales and whatnot

I’m sure everything will work out just fine. I’ve never had a problem with OES, used them several times. With the Black Friday deals they’ve had going for a while now, I’m sure they are just extra busy.

I've never used Oregon Elite Seeds but aren't you getting ahead of things? You're trashing a company for merely not replying to a text about an order you made last week. Lets see, last week was Thanksgiving, Covid, weekend, etc... They probably haven't even received your money order yet. It's not as if you've been waiting weeks for your seeds without any communication. It's been a matter of days during a holiday.

Have you called them or contacted them? They have contact information and a phone number on their website.

No need to freak out and make a post about nothing other than they didn't respond to your text. Maybe they're waiting to receive the money order before they confirm they received it and are sending out your seeds. They don't need you sending texts everyday. One is enough. I'm sure you'll get your seeds despite the fact that you turned to the internet to disparage a company that up until this point has done nothing wrong other than not reply to a text. Good grief.

Slamming an Oregon business like you did is just wrong.

Not sure why everyone always rushes to defend poor customer service. There's plenty of other seed banks that actually respond and offer good customer service.
I'm not defending anything. I'm saying it's ridiculous to go online and say "Don't use this seedbank." because they haven't gotten a reply to a text the week after Thanksgiving. They were probably enjoying the holiday, maybe took an extra day and probably have hundreds of texts and emails to go through. There are plenty of seed banks out there but what does that have to do with this thread? At this point the poor customer service could just be slow customer service. Not all businesses have a large staff of employee's. Going through messages, looking up the details of orders, and responding to each customer can take time. Especially after a holiday when those messages can stack up and take a day or two to go through.

You don't say "Don't use this seed bank" unless you've been ripped off. Which at this point hasn't happened, isn't going to happen, and a decent company has been tarnished online just because someone is impatient and didn't get a text back as soon as they thought they should have.

My experience from them as well has been poor customer service and they do not respond until they have your cash. I do not have an unlimited source of cash for seeds and would appreciate communication from a company that would like my cash. It's just good customer service. I also do believe they don't intend to rip anybody off. See my thread about the same thing but before the busy season. If they don't want people to think they have crap customer service then maybe they should respond to customers or set a different expectation on their website.

Multiple messages over days as their special are actively being posted and changed. They advertise themselves as a small staffed company to bring in more business, if that isn't the case they shouldn't advertise it to take business away from seedbanks who can actually handle orders like many others do. Go be a cuck elsewhere, I've contacted them multiple ways over multiple days, but you want to pretend you're the moral arbiter or Rollitup and jumping to conclusions making yourself look more asinine. Go be a snowflake elsewhere if you can't handle a review in "Seedbank Reviews."

So you made an order last week before a holiday. They probably haven't gotten your payment. They haven't responded to your flurry of texts. It's only been days. Your impatient. You go online and say don't buy from this company. That appears to be the jist of it.

Why didn't you make a post and ask if anyone else has had any issues with them? Did you do any research prior to making an order? You make a post as if you've somehow been scammed and say "Don't buy from this company".

Had you done any due diligence you would have easily found other posts regarding the company. Some people are satisfied while others complain about customer service. But you couldn't be bothered to investigate a company you were sending your money to. Like I said, I'm not defending them and have never and likely never will use them. But to just make a post as if you've been ripped off when you just sent your payment in last week through the mail is pretty asinine itself. You'll get your seeds and then you'll grow them but you'll likely never come back to this thread to say you got your seeds.

As for your review there is nothing for me to handle. I've never had any issues with any seedbank I've used because I did due diligence before parting with my money. I'm not the one crying about a seed bank not texting me back. You're the nervous nellie that can't sit back and wait a day or 2. Like most rational individuals I would have waited longer and then perhaps made a post asking about people's experiences with this particular seedbank. But hey. Lets just go cry on the internet because you ordered seeds last week and nobody sent you a text.

It took me mere seconds to find this:

Unless you have lived in a fallout shelter for the last 50 years then you know what a big deal black Friday is when it comes to selling stuff. What did you think would happen, snail mail payment? They likely haven't received the payment yet and if they have then likely haven't processed the mail and done deposits. Like people pointed out, small company. Imagine the volume of calls and texts that they receive after the sale and then putting those tracking numbers together with the orders into a cue to insure all orders are processed correctly, fully and payment has been received and cleared. Then comes the work of actually packaging the orders for shipment and maintaining correct inventory numbers so people like you get the seeds that you requested and pay for. You sent the payment threw snail mail what did you expect?? Coming here to bag on a company because you have no patience is sad, if it were my company and I read this thread I'd send your money back and tell you to pound sand... May the seeds you do receive be full of dicks.
