Oregon or Colorado

Why work for someone else when you can work for yourself?

Your life is good enough already without the grass being greener.

I bet any money that you don't go! It's nice to be offered work but to me it's usually a form of exploitation which is why I'm impossible to work with. It's been 4 years since I did a joint (lol) project.

I see it as a great oportunity to learn... These are people who have millions upon millions of dollars invested legally in everything to do with growing and extracting you could imagine. Id have an actual contract and salary not like the grows im offered to look over here, that indeed is exploitation, looking over 20 lights in an illegal grow and being offered 3 or 4 grand a month and no commission lol. Especially in terms of Co2 extraction they are literally millinea ahead of us. Heck just the genetics they have over there!!! Fuck me!!!
Probably not to move forever but for a couple of years i see the possibility. Plus im tired of how unprofessional the people i have to deal with are over here itd be nice to work with serious people for a while in large scale operations and do a lot of co2 runs.

I would still say to do your due diligence first.

Two years from now is a long time to keep a job offer open. Uprooting your whole life for 4 grand a month may seem appealing but what guarantee is there that there are only 20 lights? 10kg for 8 grand/ 2 mths. No.

People here are not very professional which is why you have to be choosy with who you work with. However getting work done has never been a problem.

Genetics are mixing all over the world. Unless you really want to start breeding, what's the point? You can already make concentrates here. What about the cats and the chickens?

Fuck that shit make your own millions them fools are giving you chump change need to move quantity? Theirs a whole lot more demand than I can handle but it's not really what you know it's who you know and working for a legal millionaire ain't getting you nowhere it's just a job. But I'd say Oregon if I had to chose better climate not that it really matters being someones indoor grow bitch. And do they give you free weed or you have to buy that too?? I think your going to need to buy it personally. :bigjoint:

But I don't think either of those places have a particularly good outdoor environment for growing. Especially OR. All they talk about is bud rot. Now a couple hundred miles south.... Or East

Hi all

I recently got offered two different jobs one near denver and another one near portland. Theyre both similar pay. Which is the best place for a young stoner who likes some sun and bass to live in?

CO gets my vote since you gotta choice. Oregon would be almost as cool tho. So.....

Hook a brutha up with a job! I'll be a grunt for $4,000 a month. I prefer HEMPY and Lucas formula and can do a kick ass LST! And I don't smoke a whole lot so..... I'm kinda old and forgetful though. Might have to remind me what Im supposed to be doing every now and again. o_O

Dude, no offense to Lahottie, but you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't go to one or the other. You're still young definitely get out and see the world. You only get older and grow bigger roots which make you more stationary. Get out and see the world. Go west young man.

Sure move out west, but really work for someone doing something you can do yourself making them rich while you eat the scraps? But some people like having a boss that makes all the money I guess......

We're talking about two different things I think. We all can make money- shit I think in this day in age many people will be working until they can't work anymore. I'm talking about experiences. Everyone can work. Not everyone can look back and say they lived on separate continents though.

Maybe I'm just older now but to have lived on islands and in so many different cities throughout my life so far are experiences more valuable to me than the dollar.

Whenever I have a choice about spending lots of money to do something or to not do the something and save my money it comes down to the experience for me. Is it something worth trading money for that will leave a lasting memory for myself and those involved? If it is then the money doesn't matter.

Um if you're looking for sunshine you won't find much in either of those places especially Oregon, but I rather live in Oregon than Colorado, I like the coastal houses of Oregon, Colorado i've only been to twice in my life once on a layover for 12 hours, and on a another for 3 hours. But Oregon has a prettier environment if you ask me.
