Oregonism XL or Great White for tea?

So I am starting to make some tea's and I was wondering what brand of beneficial's you all prefer to use to get the most optimal breakdown of the nutrients in the tea as well as survivability of the beneficial's in the tea? I originally was going to use great white for the 24hr brew, but after doing some digging I found out about oregonism XL which appears to have nearly as many mycorrhizae species as well as bacterial species but for a much greater price point. So the question I have to you is, which one do you recommend and if its neither of these two, then what one do you prefer? I also looked at mammoth P, but that stuff is insanely expensive and honestly, id rather culture it myself for those prices... Thanks for the help!

those powders are ok to use but if you already got the brewing setup then just throw a scoop of EWC and or good living soil (front yard) in there with some molasses and your good.

Now for the myco , put it directly on the roots when replanting. no need in wasting it in your teas.

soil :joint:

Truthfully I haven't even brewed yet, I am just reading about it and getting my ducks in a line so to speak. So EWC has enough beneficial bacteria in it to break down all the nutes in a tea? What I was thinking was to brew the tea for 24 hours having all of the bacteria break down all of the nutes into a biologically active form so they can be uptaken as needed while having the added benefit of enriching my media with the bacteria.

The main reason for the tea is FOR the bacteria , not really the food. ideally , the food is already in the soil. In 24 hrs (which is perfect for tea) the bacteria wont break down that much food into a usable form. Look up Dr. Ingram compost teas..... thats a LOT of info. teas have all different kinds of food in them depending on what you put in but none of them have the "instant boost" you may need. Yes , fresh EWC has trillions more ACTIVE bacteria then the powders. to get different species of bacteria , use differnt things , like a scoop of good dirt from any healthy area. Brew your tea first , then add your liquid nutes right before watering your plants. dont brew much longer then 24 hrs with PLENTY of air.

Great white was tested besides a control no difference. I think you kill them if they aren't already dead in a tea.

I use Oregonism XL in my soil...I mix it in as a dry additive though when I'm building the soil, usually throw in a tablespoon or two per cuft

I like to sprinkle mycorrizea directly on the roots when trans-planting but i also always add a few spoons/cups to my soil when building.
oregonism xl has a lot of other beneficials on top of the myco.
