Organic Growing Flowering Week 4

Do these buds look okay for my fourth week? I'm growing organically with basically just Light, Water, Air, Dry Organic Nutes fed every two weeks so I knew when I started this project I wouldn't be getting the largest yield but I basically just want the most cleanest healthiest smoke I can get my hands on! I just bought myself an illuminated microscope from radio shack & I checked the trichomes & most of them are still clear & a little cloudy. I love this thing, it was hard to figure out how to get a good look at them cause you gotta get directly ON the bud or leaf whichever trichomes you are checking.

the plant look more like 5 weeks plus as a few of the hairs have turned brown and lots of trichomes on the buds and leaves

it looks like you have over done it with the nutes and over watered the plants

i would reduce the nutes and let the soil dry out more before watering

They get watered twice a week, & I go Light as I can on nutes believe me. I think I had the lights to close which was a problem but I moved em up a little.

you got a long way to go...another month or more.
looks ok.
Well yes that is the consensus, Usually at 4 weeks you would go another month or so depending on the strain. I want to know how they look for four weeks, I'm not asking if I should chop them down & smoke them now.

if something does not look right i will tell you insted of saying they look good as it might make you feel good but i what to help you increase your yeild,

the plants do look good but just saying the tips of the leaves are brown which happens when you use to much nutes and the leaves are curling down in a lot of the pic's
which happens when you over water your plants

if the light was to low the leaves would look lighter in color at the top of the plant and the edge of the leaves curl up

Okay def perhaps the dry nutes are too strong or the amount i'm putting is to much even though I used half of the said amount. My room tends to get really hot at times how would this affect the plants it comes in spurts because it reaches the 100's sometimes where I live.

sorry had problems log on

your temps are to high and your plant will drink more water and need a lot less nutes when it is hot just like you and me (less food more drink when its hot)

if you let the soil dry out to much it will also make the nutes in the soil a lot stronger and could build salt on the roots

and if this happens the plant is trying to drink even more water and the problem gets worse

Exiz, Im new to this but even with organic soil you still have to nut your plants so much ? I use half FF and half Mountain soil, and never nuted my plants ever,, And there doing fine,, I know at some point they might need some food but right now there doing fine.. I just went 12-12 5 week veg and there easy 3-3 and I topped them or they would be huge and I took clones.. Cut back on the nuts it might surprise you. you can always add them back if you see you need to..

may I give you a few tips ...

maybe look in to stuff like Bat guano (powder type with high P.)

it is realy nice to use as top dressing at week 4 in flowering .. a few table sppons before watering .. and your soil get new life and a good ammount of P and a littel N/K and trace elements and magnesium .. a nice littel coktail for a flowering plant in soil .. maybe even old/"dead"/used soil ..

also look in to Molessens .. dark sugar .. a table spoon per gallon of water as a tea when you water can also help your soil provide even more sugars and make your bud rip even more and tast sweet ;)

I reccon the Bat guano cost like 20$ for a kilo and Molesses cost maybe 10$

Ooh yea and stuff like Epsom salt (magnesium sulfat) can also help you in soil ..
also stuff like dolomit Lime/Mearl and Kelp ..

do some research .. a lot fo stuff you can add to your soil to help it cary your plants all the way with no nutriens and no need to PH water ..

even ash from hard wood and coffe/te grounds is stuff you might want to consider .. I als use stuff like bone and blood meal ..

trick is to repot a few times and keep what you need in the soil for seedlings .. veg and flowering ..

repotting is also in my mind a good thing .. if you do it carefully and use a bit of commen sens the plant will hardly stress ..

and what it do is grow a nice root system .. as a seed in a larges pot will only use up to 70% of the space ..

weed roots will not use the middel of a pot as much as the sides ..

so by repoting to bigger pots a few times you make a bigger root system in the middel of the final pot ..

witch will help it doing flowering ..
