Just add some Splenda and there is less calories in your bong hits. heh j/k

I use black strap and that shit is messy but it is cheap. I get a quart of food grade for $2 and it lasts a couple harvests. There is a feed store down the street and they sell it for $4 a gallon but it is feed grade and not for human consumption so hesitant to try it. Anyone use the feed grade with good results?
I use the feed grade.

Down here, the feed grade is what's used for *agricultural applications*.

Weed growers aren't the only ones using this stuff. LOL

I use, for flowering plants, AN Bud Candy, and Sucanat mixed together in clean water only. I did notice the aroma kick up a bit...nothing like the 'flowery' AN ad,....but noticeble. And that Sucanat runs $8/bag my way, 'health food' store mark up...lol That's what I use...All the Best!!

Think of Sucanat as just carbs to feed the microbes while blackstrap is carbs + 1-0-6 NPK and some cal mag. Super Soil is low in K so the extra K from a strong blackstrap molasses makes more sense IMO. The cost is negligible either way compared to bottled nutes (Biobizz grow is just watered down blackstrap molasses). As far as being messy, it is very easy to work with if you have a medicine dropper. Swish water inside the dropper before you draw the molasses. Afterward swish water around in the dropper. It will clean out in less than a minute even with cold water.

I use a mixture blackstrap and grammas molasses for microbe teas so far so good.

Super soil isn't really that low in K. Roots Organics has kelp meal in it already and has a lot of coco coir in it. One of the natural properties of coir is that is provides a significant amount of K. Which is why coco specific nutrients are formulated with less K in them.
