Our current president, in a speech shortly after the shooting soiled core american values today when he referred to a night club as "a place of solidarity and empowerment." What a disgrace. There are a multitude of things wrong with this subject, but Obama did not address the situation professionally and should feel shame for his words regarding the victims. I don't mean disrepect. All I'm saying is this is not the first time that this has happened under his presidency, and still no action has been taken. If we can't expect our commander in chief to act, who can we expect to take action to stop these atrocities? He just gives two speeches?

It doesn't stop there. They already had the guy at their fingertips not once, but 3 times the authorities could have prevented this.

These things are largely unpreventable, I believe. When you say this could have been prevented, how so?

Under current law, I don't think he did anything to warrant imprisonment, and I think he was born here so no deportation

The left would like us to believe making it illegal for him to buy a firearm would have prevented it. It would not have, a gun can be aquired by illegal means. This would have only put an obstacle in his path, and not much of one at that.

The only way you can prevent terrorist attacks is to remove the source for their terror. Its Islam.

In a sane world we would destroy thrir mosques, ban them from practicing the religion and kill anyone not in compliance with the banning on Islam.

Religion is cultural cancer. Christianity has been made more benign, it's like a prostate cancer. Islam is like stage 4 melanoma. It will rot our culture and feast on our corpses.

Calling a gay nightclub "a place of solidarity and empowerment" is how he "soiled core american values"? Honestly you are the one who should feel shame for your words.

Bullshit, naming something is taking power over it. Like with Bush Sr. Named Saddam Hussein 'sa-dam'

Giving the name is controlling what it is called. By not giving it a name Obama is trying not to offend the enemy.

The president used the words he did because the bar was started by a woman who's brother died of aids...she opened it for what her brother referred to as his persecuted people, what is now the LGBT community...I'm gonna show a little of your "power over you" theory and call you an ignorant loser...how "controlled" do you feel??? It is possible over generations to squelch out a religion of some place.

Nearly all the lands that are now Islamic were once another religion. Why are they now Islamic? Doing exactly what i said we should do to them.

Do you think you can build a church in Saudi Arabia? Not only that, you can't repair one. If you're not muslim you have to pay a special tax.
