If you're having a hard time deciding what kind of light to buy, Osram is one of two companies in the world that make the actual diodes that all LED lights utilize. It's either Osram or Samsung.

Osram is very open and an industry leader with grow lights as they partner with many universities, doctors and growers alike to test out and further the research. They have a ton of fairly quick reads with a lot of detail exploring the light spectrum, density and other parameters waiting to be pioneered and discovered such as supplementing with ultraviolet wavelengths on the far left or the deep reds on the far right and their specific influence on plants! Even if you don't buy a Fluence light, they are happy to let you know what you should be looking for when comparing lights! Happy reading everyone!!

Still use the old G.O.D Osrams and while not as efficient as this gen diodes they still get 8oz a plant when grown right

Choosing the right light is part of growing right in my opinion. It can be done with a lesser light of course but I want the most out of my grow and to know the science behind it. Lots of great info on that website and you can get as detailed as you'd like even checking into case studies!

Can't find any specs on your light except for the fact that it's been discontinued. Lighting is one of the fast evolving industries right now.. even outside of growing. I work for a distributor who services a utility that purchases Slyvania lights from us, also an Osram owned company. There's a great light in the "In It To Win It" forum by Medicgrow... tje Ez8. Specs are extremely comparable to the Osram Fluence SPYDR 2P which is on the cusp of requiring C02 at full strength! Good luck if you enter!

As I stated, the lighting industry is one of the fastest evolving industries. The info on Osram is good dude and me stating an older fact I didn't realize was outdated doesn't mean the info shared from Osram is TOTALLY WRONG. Just trying to share some good info but you gotta pick at the one mistake. You want to argue the science from the link, go right ahead.

Why aren't you puffing dude, chill out.
