other than seeds......any use for the males????

I know that the males do not produce buds. Do they have any use at all? I read on this site people cook with them. Other people said it was a waste of time. I also was told by someone that you can smoke it but it is not that great. They said it would be more like ditch weed. I know you can use them for seeds.... Is that it? I do not want to them to get with my girls. I just don't like to waste either. So please let me know what you guys think. :confused:

hash oil! read on this site for hash oil making w/ ISO. I did it twice now, you also use all your garbage (stems and stuff) you just have to dry it out and grind it up some. 1 oz of stuff makes roughly 1 gram of hash oil

Just flower them normally and either take the pollen or make hash with them or something, but make sure to keep them FAR from your precious females

males dont grow buds they grow balls, so therefore u smoke the males n ur smokin balls! You can collect pollen though

they do produce thc so you can make hash or cannabutter but you will have to keep them alive through flowering so if you have an extra space to flower them in go ahead (would be better used to grow more fems though. If you don't have a spare room be safe and dump those guys you don't want any unplanned pregnancies do ya (not sure how close you are to a planned parenthood). lol

you could cut it down, strip the lower leaves to make a handle and use it to sweep the floor :roll:

I do want the cannabutter but do not want the trip to planned parenthood:mrgreen: I am short on space so I will probably have to get rid of them. I think this should be something I should try after a few grows. I will just be happy if what I grow is smoke able.:-P

anything you grow is smokable.....weather that is good smoke or not is to be questioned. lol
ive got 7 males i need to find something to do with myself before they open pollen sacks, but im lazy so ill prob just cut em down and burn em(not smoking wise either).
lots of people say that males dont contain any thc, but they do contain minimal amounts, though it isnt much.
When i first started growing i smoked some pollen balls from the males i had. they got me a high and tasted really sweet. but overall it isnt worth the effort by lots of peoples standards.

for that matter ive gotten high off of pot leaves before. But the buzz was more like a giggly buzz ya get when ya first start smoking weed than it was like smoking a good ole tasty nug

You know I am completely dry so that sound better than nothing. I think when I was in High school I smoked males and did not even know the difference. The stuff I could get a hold of was always full of seeds and required a grinder. I was in high school though. I am just looking forward to the harvest. :eyesmoke:

i hear ya girl,
but what you got in hs sounds like schwag not males.
if you have any males right now youll notice that the little "balls" arent really seeds. they are squishy pollen sacks that pop open and fertalize the females.

the schwag u got in hs is what happens when u have a field full of pot and dont get the males out, then come back and harvest it. You get millions of seeds of course!

That sound about right, I am pretty sure it was ditch weed.
I am still about 3 weeks from the kids showing me which way they swing. If I cant get a hook up then I might be smoking on that. I think I will keep them separate though.

I moved 1000 miles away from everybody I know a about 4 months ago. have had difficulty finding a solid hookup. I am growing so it wont be a problem anymore. I have been surprised by how much I am enjoying growing too. I have not been one to garden but this had been a good experience so far.

ive never had a problem finding ppl that smoke bud and getting them to get me a bag.........but i dunno what to suggest to you.

and i was surprised how much i like growing too. I liked gardening though so that could be part of it. The only thing i hate is hauling water to outdoor grows if i didnt put them near water. But now i just always plant near water and problem solved:blsmoke:

Ya my problem is moving away from all of my friends and working with uptight people who might grow tomatoes if they garden. lol.... I have met somebody who is cool. He lives like a hour away and is very busy now.... so I am waiting for him to get back with me. Either way I think I am looking at being dry for awhile. :cry:

I live around to many people to grow outside. I think I would enjoy that though. I should really move to California.:-P

I might just get a female plant to a pretty large size... put her to seed... then cut her up and make 20 female clones ;)
