I mean my point was that I didn't know everything I did when I was 12 as when I was 20(obviously).

The details don't really matter... the point was I wasn't qualified to make a decision that could change my life.... (like gender reassignment for example)

Your comment seemed to imply that you really don't understand the difference between gender and sexuality.

But let me ask you something... what should we have done in this case? How should we have treated a situation where our five year old child was showing significant depression and anxiety about being called a boy or being addressed by her male birth name. What would you have done?
