I think I’m gonna lose my Sweet Zombie plant. The leaves are yellowing and spotting on me and the buds are barely fattening up. I really think the spider mites did her in and my Blue Cheese as well, but that one is stacking and a little fattening happening now but probably over a month behind schedule.

Welcome to, well I'm presuming, the end if the season and Disaster Days. Sucktember is about to turn into Rotober, these next 5 weeks is when hearts break wide open for so many growers every year. Luck with your harvest, friend.

Last years grow was complete shit, so anything this year is a win really. Fingers and toes will be crossed for the next 5-7 weeks. Well hopefully less on a gold chunk of them like the BDxAK in hopefully 2-3 weeks

Update on the girls, have decided I will no longer be running outdoor plants in pots after this year. My organic bed has done quite well so far. Haven't had to do anything but water and living close to the lake I've barely had to do that. The big girl is a blackberry cheesequake and the small one is a pre 98 og kush.
No signs of mold or rot. Looking good so far. Hopefully they can hold out. 20220918_071623.jpg20220918_071607.jpg20220918_071543.jpg20220918_071426.jpg20220918_071444.jpg

I noticed a small browning sugar leaf at the base of this bud, pulled it out gently and a brown leaf came out. Noticed a little more browning on the bud so I ripped it off, here it is. Conventional wisdom says it's bud rot, but this is my first grow. What do you think? What should I do? All the other bud sites looked healthy, it might have been isolated to that one bud site. The plant overall needs another 2-3 weeks, I trimmed off a bud around that rot to check it and the inner calyx is underdeveloped
Is this rot.jpg

You a gardner now bud, just gotta keep checking colas for things that look off or wrong....indoors you dont have the high fluctuations of environment and that's what drives outdoors rapid degradation or bug infestation...ever see a gigantic swarm of flying insects when one day there was none? Same deal with mold, bacteria, algea, fungi. Once the settings are right the bad gets way worse real fast.

Thanks for the general encouragement. My gardening intuition exist for vegetables, but I have no instincts for a first time cannabis grow. What should I look for to know when to cut bait and harvest before that happens. My plan is to remove individual bud sites that show signs of budrot, but some growers remove a whole branch which seems excessive. How do I optimally manage this situation? A daily h202 spray to kill any spores? With the occasional wpm leaf, I just remove and toss, will do a h202 bud wash at the end anyways. Thankfully the weather has been cooperative. It just rained for 20 minutes after 5 days of 85+ clear skies, the next spotty rainy day is in a few days

the reason everyone wants to keep their plants dry in greenhouses or under car ports is we dont want them getting rained on once those buds start looking good...turns that soft pistil receeding brown...into a dead leaf nasty rot brown. If you arent under cover then rain is your biggest factor. Buds still looking great? Close to harvest? ..if rain is 80% tomorrow a grower is usually considering a chop or partial harvest. A heavy rain will sort of 'deflate' a bud in its prime, watch ur weather.
