I decided to do seven plants this year, I ran four of them in 10 gallon pots with Roots organic 707 soil. The other three I dug hoes about 3 gallons worth and put Fox farm soil ocean Forest with coffee beans and egg shells in the bottom of the hole before I put the soil in. The strains are - bubblegum blue dream , jack herer , super skunk , blue cheese, and 2 cookies . In the first picture was taken on June 12th the second picture was taken yesterday July 31st.

I'm using liquid seaweed for grow and probably this week starting the Earth juice sugar peak flowering and I'll finish it with Earth juice sugar peak Grand finale. Please feel free to comment if anyone is interested. Thanks I'll post pictures every week now since the are starting to flower.

Your soil mix sounds NICE and RICH!
Man honestly I am so surprised how good the 3 in the ground are doing, they are nice and green and outgrowing the ones in the pots those coffee beans and eggshells are doing wonderful with the Fox farm soil in the ground. Thanks for the reply

My wife and I have an experiment going in our vegetable garden this year. I took a nice big top layer of forest soil from my woods, dug it into the garden with my backhoe and then keep throwing in all my grass clippings and leaf mulch...

The tomato plants in the ground are massive and HUUUUGE!

The ones my wife planted in the big pots are small, but have lots of tomatoes, and are also VERY yellow as they aren't getting enough nutes.

We also use Fox Farm.

I wish I would of done them all in the ground. You can clearly see the difference from the ones that are in the ground to the ones that are in the pots. Gotta give the ones in pots more nitrogen now cuz they're all starting to yellow. I'm going to put a greenhouse over them in the next 3 weeks.
