Hello everyone hope all is well I'm doin my outdoor 8x8 brick shed but I'm stuck on ventilation i was going to extract underground into my greenhouse but it's 25metre away from shed and I'm not sure if I can do a 25m duct run any advise or options would be great thanks

Yea, a 25m = 75 foot run of duct is not going to be an easy task, you would need a fan of near epic proportions to accomplish any work (very impractical). You care going to have to more than likely make a hole or 2 in the shed and do the venting locally.

I am sure if you want to grow bad enough, you will find a way. Some pics of the inside construction of the shed might help as well.

I'm already growing mate just want too build a bigger better setup! Thought 25m would be to much maybe il just go under 5-8m into a compost bin see how that plans out. What do you rekon not so bad??

Yea, that is a more doable run for sure. What kind of duct are you going to run underground? Needs to be corrosion resistant and crushproof, is it just for exhaust or intake and exhaust as well?

Just don't see air duct underground that often.

you wont be able to use metal you can but will have to be like 18 ga, metal ,might I suggest use what is called Culvert pipe for drainage. its made of a abs type material and will not rot and with stand the weight, you can also use PVC sch 40 if you burry it deep enough you wont have any temp lost also pitch it because it will most likly on some days( Dew Point) produce condensation.

Yeah mate its a bit more realistic! Just for exhaust fan! I was thinking of useing twinwall drainage duct for underground it's nice and strong so should do the job what about the heat coming out the compost bin maybe have anuva fan blowing cool air around the carbon filter or wouldn't that make any difference ? Thank
