Thanks for the feedback but limestone will make the water more alkaline... That's my problem in the first place. I am using blackstrap molasses and it is like using a double dose of limestone and then locks out the potassium. This is my theory anyway.

It should be a slight enough bump so as not to shock any of the girls. Unfortunately upon further inspection I found 1 green worm on a bud. Thankfully as you can see in pic's 2 + 3 I have some predatory help working for me. Also, anyone living in a cooler climate will recognize pic 1 as bud rot.... I had a few spots I cut out but cool moist weather ahead have me sharpening my pruning shears... We shall see... Happy growing...:joint:

Has your problem been resolved. With mine I just added the lime and some Epsom salts. About 1/4 cup of each and then 4 gallons of water. All seems well now and my buds are growing like crazy

I appreciate the comment but again I wanted to make the ph higher not lower it with limestone. How you been doing in Ontario? Anyone interested can post pic's of their girls if they like. All are welcome:leaf: As it stands things seem to be stable on that front but I needed to strap those mutherfuckers down. Last two times I have been out it looked like the pot god's decided to go bowling and my girls were the pin's! Thickening nicely though, pic's tomorrow!

I feel ya on the pots coming down. I got 3 still in pots and they need to get a good dose of water every day or they get a little top heavy. but they are budding faster than any I have in the ground. I wonder if they sense the limited space and get going faster than all the rest? Im not doing clones or even same seeds so I cant really say for sure. I thought about staking them down but I like to lift them to see how much they drank.9-3-13 006.jpg9-3-13 007.jpg heres a little sample of my babes. fairly small pot I wanna say 3 gal. They are also the only ones going through leaves. Im guessing its because they are somewhat rootbound, and not N def. this one in the pics is furthest along. (the green container is exactly 2 gal to the top for a size reference)

SHHHIIITTT!!! Nice looking girls, I have oftentimes thought that root bound mj flowers early for that very reason. I think the plant is afraid it's going to dry out and die off so it goes into flower early. Nice job Nug!!!

These girls have grown this big in SPITE of me and I can't take credit for any of it. Just goes to show you that even if you don't have the growing skills like Doublejj, ABM, 5150 or any of the other skilled growers on this site, as long as they get plenty of sunshine and they get watered when they NEED it you can have a bountiful harvest on the cheap. That said, as far as the pictures go, #1 is the NLblue slowly progressing in her flowering stage. #2 is the Bubba that needs tying up badly.(will be done tomorrow a.m.) #3 is an LSD that's chunking up. #4 is the Cheese and it really needs to thicken up, hopefully it's just gonna finish late. I wouldn't grow it again. #5is another LSD that took a beating with the ph problems but it's starting to look more like the Bubba!! I held my billfold up for scale. #6 Is the same LSD from far away. Last is the Thai that needs to bulk as well. Again, unless something drastically changes I wouldn't grow again either. The cheese and thai were freebies anyway! Happy growing all!bongsmilie Pack a bowl for me! P.S. poorly timed vacation to Disneyworld next week so may not post for a while.

they look amazing puck, that 2nd pic is worthy of a frame looks like a city sky line with that huge cola as the biggest skyscraper... that trip to Disney is going to mess things up no? better hope for a little rain unless you have a babysitter lined up. good luck with that, and enjoy trimming that tall nugget.

They look unreal, I'm in the same boat as you but mine aren't as big. Super cheap season but should have some decent buds if the rain holds out for a bit. Been raining like crazy here and I found some mold on a few plants. How close are they to harvest, the furthest along i guess.

2013-09-06_06-10-57_276 (1).jpg Believe it or not, didn't get the other LSD pic again so here it is. LOL looks so much like the Bubba that I forget it. I will get both of them in one pic. next time I go. They are across the patch from each other. As far as finishing times I wouldn't expect anything to finish before the end of Sep. And Nug, I wish it wasn't this month but I need a vacation badly. Luckily the dew in the morning and cool weather is a blessing and a curse. It causes mold but it also keeps the plants from drying out too much. I read it in another thread but I believe that if the girls stay dryer towards the end of flowering the buds tend to be tighter and more solid. Again, just a personal experience. I did make it out this a.m. and tie up the Bubba.

Yeah, when a plant senses that it has no more space to expand its roots the budding process is sped along slightly quicker. That is what helped me with my critical jack, I was told that she would never finish in my area due to shorter season. I have 4 weeks max growing time left and season will last another 6 weeks before any chance of frost.

You got 6 weeks left huh, that's about the time we get our first frost more or less. Looks like you already have PLENTY of frost!!!

Thanks Shrewify and Dex! I have lucked out this year. I am thinking after harvest I would take a picture with one cola in each hand and make that my avatar! That would be sick!
