Hiya Bro!

Awesome grow man. Plants looking good and healthy.

Go easy on the nutes. If you can keep your patience, you can watch their grow pattern.
1st week- dont feed nutes.
2nd week- feed them the lower than lowest possible amount you can think.
3rd week-feed them a fair amount(maybe 0.5% less than the recommended dose)
4th week- feed them the recommended dose.
You can watch their grow pattern and decide which quantity to use. Give them time, feed the earth- not the plants. Damn they are looking good, better than mine. So if you pour all your ferts more than the required amount, it is a wastage of money and effort.

All this is from a noob based on the grows so far and the gardening. Also please try to include liquid fertilizers containing micro organisms such as bacteria and fungi. They can help your plant by making your additives more readily available.

My thoughts, do correct me if am wrong.

Peace!

Toker.

Yeah thanks man!
I am actually doing that with my seedlings this is their 3rd week and I am going to do like a 1/4 nute
next week will probably give just under a recommended dose
went out yesterday, had to make sure kangaroos haven't done anymore damage( they haven't which is sweet), fencing that area tomorrow

Thanks again man, this is only my 3rd grow so all tips welcome and appreciated.

I don't have that many nutes as well, just miracle gro controlled release (which im not getting again, nitrogen level burns the seedlings)
and the bat guano and a few organic materials added in (blood and bone, dynamic lifter)

so my 5 seedlings are in the Oscomote out in a real nice spot, and they have only got cow manure mixed in gonna wait till there flowering before i add blood and bone
they sprouted on the 12/16/2013 so they are about 3 weeks old just under,

Boog,

That sounds fine, but the seedlings won't need anything until later. If they get a nute burn it can be drastic and they may not bounce back, so be careful.

Pest control- Forgot to tell about adding soap. Boiling chillies and then grinding them extracts all the good stuff. Maybe you can also try hot chilli+garlic+neem oil and make a sauce and feed the pests that grow on your plants. Be prepared for the pests too.

A word of advice from experienced growers will do much good. Am in the learning curve too, experimenting and patience can teach you lessons that nobody can tell.

Cheers,

Toker.

So went out to the spot today, plants are doing nicely except my fears have been realized, there is either a kangaroo or a wombat maybe even a possum causing a bit of trouble for my left hand girl,
which ain't cool, also there was a few bites around on the leaves either from slugs or some other pests so sprayed a lot of pest spray, going to head back there in only like 3 days so i can build a fence

@lickalotapus funny you should say that hahaha went out there today and yep

Haha awell , looks like they only took a nibble , last year i had a wallaby eat what would of been about 4 oz of buds lol ,i think he got the munchies and kept goin. A bit of chicken wire sorts em out though.
If you wanna give your plants a lil kick i use this product from bunnings called charlie carp , its an organic liquid fert made from carp , dont use it every watering though

Update: looking a lot nicer, a bit of rain and heaps of sunshine,
also put 20 bamboo sticks around them, going to buy another 20, 40 should be enough

I am pretty sure I have somehow gotten a Indica, a Sativa and a Hybrid for the different 3 or at least 1 sativa 2 hybrids, does anyone agree?

when they start flowering I am going to be feeding them Natures own Superbloom and PK 13-14

So went out today to give a water, lucky I did the weather has been real hot and the ladies were looking a bit under watered,
gave them just under a tablespoon dose of molasses to 1 Gallon and some Super Bloom which has an N-P-K of 1-9-1 which I still am not sure is enough Potassium just yet so just seeing how they go,
put some more bamboo around and some fishing line because the kangaroos had been back, even I'm finding it hard to get in there now, if they can they must really love marijuana haha

Bloody wildlife :(
Still worth goin back man, they're getting big! You'll still end up with something out of it at least ;)

Can you set a trap around the plants somewhere? Once one gets caught it may scare off the others...either that or set up a trip wire with some fish hooks, that will hurt them enough for them to realise it isnt safe. Just set it up about 2-3m around the plants! I don't advicate hurting animals normally but sometimes you have to scare the buggers so it becomes a hostile area to them..

Yeah man, ill head nack the one on tyhe end is still in good shape,
gonna buy chicken wire thats all thats left plus heaps of fishing line, yeah I get that I'd want to scare them but there is no way I could do that to an animal man haha
I would feel terrible if there was a poor little fella tangled in a fish hook or something

at least my seedlings are going real well

Yeah you got to do it man, you've put in all this effort so far, to come away with nothing would suck balls!
Cool mate, well hopefully the chicken wire will keep em out! Build it as high and with as many stakes as you can so it's cyclone proof ha ha ha. Good luck mate!
