Outdoor grower learning indoor

Hi so a quick run down with what I got.i have an outdoor setting in which i can hold about 30 plants for outdoor..all done with the harvest lost quite a but just to bad plants.. I have a somewhat large shed to work with creating an indoor setting..if anyone could point me to some literature or some basic steps/needs for the grow

I'm kind of curious on what a 'bad plant's is.
