outdoor hydroponic grow, newbie

so i live in louisiana and today i ordered a bubbleponic system. ive read up about growing so i know the basics. i was just curious if i should just use reggie seeds and see how that comes out or if itd be worth the extra money to go out and buy some seeds? and if so what strains would you recommend growing in louisiana?

thanks in advance

I,ve had great results with bag seeds, but i would definitely order some seeds if you can. And since you live in louisiana you'll be able to grow any strain you want with your long growing season.

If you have bag seed from good pot, use that. If it's your first time, what you want to focus on is gaining experience and knowledge. Almost nothing you do this year will be exactly right and you will learn from mistakes. You might not want to learn from drastic plant-killing mistakes if you pay 70 bucks for seeds though.

I'm curious on how you plan to door a hydro grow outdoors.. Is it just soilless medium or are you really trying to setup an indoor hydroponic system in the wild with no power?

im gonna use a car battery for power so there arent any power chords or anything. connected to the battery is an dc->ac power inverter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000L8KV4Q) and plan on keeping the battery charged using a solar powered battery maintainer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FOBJ70). this will keep the battery charged and supply power all at the same time. pretty smart eh?

Do you really think that that little solar panel is gonna be enough to power your outdoor hydro experiment? It would be hella cool but it'll be really hard to pull off.
