DUDE use the river water! try and get it form a hole that doesnt look stagnant. Id invest in plant food. if you know theres deer and other pests then put some chicken wire to protect against rabbits, and try peeing around your crop to help keep deer away. Some say to pee right around the plant, but thats gross. Just pee in a few spots in the general area. The Deer will smell it and wont go near the plants.. usually... Im actually gonna invest in a little coyote urine to spray around whenever i go to water, thatll def do the trick! Good luck

Around my plants this year Ive been throwing my hair (that I cut off) and urine from bottles that I collect and also sperm. This is in the general aerea. Also I use egg/chili/nettlesjuice to spray on the plants to avoid insects. Would strongly warn against chicken wire or any other "humanmade" devices around your plants. Remember that primates are our worst enemy.

yeah guys thanks for all the imput really !
so i guess i can use river water so im not hauling big ass jugs of water
cuz ill be planting near the river and ill just use one of my moms Watering cans!

so as far as Chicken wire goes I dont know if I shuld use it or not
because we do have quite a few dear, rabbits Ect...
you could use chicken Wire for them ? or you could look up Natural Pesticides :-P the more Organic the better Mix some Tabassco Sauce in with some Water in a Spray Bottle (about 3 tea spoons per litre) and Mist the Plants when there in Veggie and Flowering Stopping about 4 weeks before Harvest !! Also you should Piss around the Area and mark your turf !!!
Were animals and so are they !!!
You should also make sure if your fertilizing its Organic !! Slow release is best !!!! The Microrganisims in the soil will help break them down and your plants will grow like wild fire !!!

Hey all
i need a few questions anwserd
becuase i will be growing outdoors this spring in Canada Ontario!
Any Help wuld be appreashated
Thanks!:peace:
One: Should I plant in the Growned or in pots??
In the ground if the soil there is rich, if not you can dig a hole and fill it with a decent mix of triple mix and add about 5% cured manure and 20% pro-mix for drainage and water retention. I've been doing them in 10gal pots in the backyard for stealth last couple of seasons but when I had some property I'd dig holes and throw my own mix in there. If you do them in the ground don't put them out before end of May, you risk frost which can slow them down before they're well rooted. That's one of many reasons I do them in pots, for stealth and the ability to move them if needed late in season.

Two: How Often should I water them? and is River water ok for them?
If the river water is clean I've used river/creek water in the past, most are more than clean enough but you'll want to filter it (doubled up cheesecloth is fine) to keep bugs out. In a good season you may not have to water much if the rains are consistent.

Three: When do i need to make the plants go into the Flowering stage?
No need, they'll start on their own somewhere around mid-July to beginning of August

Four: Should I put Chicken Wire around the plants?
Only if you think it won't attract attention, and I don't mean animals, if they stand out too much it'll attract rippers in September

Five: Should I tie them down or top them?
Any form of training is good, do it before beginning of July and let them be from there on in so they're strong when they start flowering

Cool like to see my fellow canadian growers I use 50lb fishing lines instead of cages a Lil more work but less shit to carry and you can set it up in different spots to see if anyone wonders through your patch
