outdoor issues

i got 3 plants growing outdoor, maybe a week or two into flower, no buds. just lots of pistils and new leaf growth, some calyxes obviously but not enough to call buds. the nights are getting colder and im scared im going to have to pull soon. 2 weeks at least before the temp drops too low. its gotten down to 30 degrees one night, but not for the last week. been around high 40s and low 50's. if i grow them till they eventuaally die, will what little thc die too? should i being pulling it asap? just super unsure what to do. and i cant get a greenhouse, or build one. cant bring inside at night, cant really do much but wait, or pull. n not sure which to do. they dont look too bad, the leaves were droopy but i watered, hopefully thats not from the cold

id try and let her go as long as u can. Even if it gets cold, observe the plant and if it look like it will pull through, let it go. if its only looking worse after a few days, u may want to pull.Also some good direct morning sun after a cold night can really help a plant out

ok, im hoping the two indicas will finish, but the sativa most definitely wont... could i use its immature buds for cannabbutter and still get any effect? also, would a few nights below 30 kill it for sure? th days r still warm jus gettin nipply at night, we've already had 2 frosts too ....

Leave them go up until and slightly passed frost or until there falling over from snow . Frost doesn't kill thc, all it does is stop or slow growth then the snow or frost with weigh it down to the ground where it will rot then die. Catch it before it does that and your good and remember to stop feeding at least a week or 2 ahead of cutting her down for a cleaner smoke .

k haha, there aew like no crystals on them yet, just some pistils and small dense leaves at the tips of budsites. how long after preflowering do you see actual buds and swelling calyxes?

I should troll on you like u do us lol,but I'm not,anyway it will be ok you may experience new growth yellowing and purple stem which MAY lead to P def,but your plants can handle it better than being ripped out the ground IMO

k haha, just kinda thought it was the end, with no real buds... the pistils are browning though now that i meantion it, is this bad? poop all over me

Make sure surrounding brush isn't fighting with it for light by killing or stomping sounding vegatation as less light equals less cyrstals and slower growth. Next year find a faster flowering strain or strain better suited for your climate. Depending on strain some preflower for 2 weeks before buds start showing some longer .

You probably got pollinated did they also recede?

yeah, its in a fairly bushy area (guerrila grow) but gets decent sunlight, i have them all in 4 gallon buckets, all about 2 - 4 feet tall. its supposed to go below 0 this weekend, (30-). but should be fine for a night. really hoping i can get in at least 2 more weeks, even though i need like 5, been flowering fo 2 weeks, showed sex like a month ago though, now pistils are spread everywhere, still. no bud or crystals... stupid global warming and what-not

no theyre still same size, just not really growin much, and some are amber, and i wouldnt doubt if they got pollinated. im sure they will. so many industrial hempfeilds around here.... going to be shitty weed n shitty seed, but owellll

I'm about 4 weeks into flower and have no Trichomes,but thats normal until it starts to explode i wouldn't expect a plant at 2 weeks to look like the sugar fairy landed on them,and even if they would turn amber before your buds are even ripe.

keep water to a minimum as possible. Cold temps and excess moisture in your pots will freeze the roots. If you can try to give your plant some cover so that the condensation from over night will not land on the plant and freeze it.

hmmm, maybe a saran wrap greenhouse? hahahaha, and yeah its not 2 weeks from 12/12 its 2 weeks since every budsite has pistils everywhere. probably 4 weeks since preflower, maybe more. not really sure when flowering officially began but, its growing pretty slow lately. not really purpling at all tho. ill get some pics up for ya tomorrow morning, n if i wrap my pots up in blankets would that help the roots from gettin cold? cuz theyre not the biggest pots, 3 gallon. and the plants are like 3 or 4 months old. probably root bound but idc lol cant be too bad

well, the leaves were drooping pretty bad, leaves are dark and heavy looking. if i watered with warmer water before dark, and covered it with a garbage bag think it would help? the bag would be just thrown over the plant, touching its immature buds. about 3 weeks into flower, tiny buds. pollinated, growing slow, but starting to see little hairs on the smaller leaves around the bud sites. trichs are startin to grow, n plant is starting to die. got a bad frost lastnight.

damn I wonder if next time you could tent it off or something with a painters plastic to keep some of the heat in for the final days. Even if that forces less light at least it would get the clue to wrap it up and still get enough light not to kill it. (I unplugged a grow and left it in complete darkness and it was still growing for a couple weeks)

Would probably get to moist and rot but dunno if there's some middle ground allowing a little air flow in.

Dont put a plastic bag over your plants, it will give budrot and maybe freeze the condense under the plastics. Also warm water seems to cool quicker then cold water. If you want to isolate your plants try some hay around the pots and some on the ground. Shield it from direct cold winds.
