im setting up 4 tents 4x4 by 6.5 im putting 1 250 led in the veg, 2 500 led in first flowering tent, and 3 500 led in 2nd tent. system is aeroponics on didgital timers howmany outlets should i have wired in that room? and should they be on their own own breaker in the panel? would it be safe to plug the third tent into one outlet alone? i guess what Im saying is howmany total watts is ok to plug into 1 outlet?

thanks

For a 15amp breaker you are only suppose to use it at a max of 80% its total so it is only good for 12amps.
So that means watts=volt x current so at 120v x 12Amps = 1440watts is the max you should put on one breaker.
I put a 20amp breaker with a 20amp outlet dedicated for my grow room. A 20amp breaker is good for 16amps which means 1920watts. I would get 2 20 amp breakers for you set up just fo be safe. You could put multiple outlets on 1 breaker just be careful how many watts your running off 1 breaker. Most panels will have a few extra spots to add breakers....just make sure an electrcian or someone who really knows what there doing installs the breakers and outlets for you.

i would put a separate 20 amp for each tent just to be safe. you wouldnt want one breaker to trip and take out 3 tents would you. you dont have to tell them anything, tell them what you want and thats it, your paying them for it, its none of their buisness.

I put 20 amp breakers in a guys basement and he said it was for a future woodworking shop.
He probably needed it for a grow room but used that as his excuse.
I didn't ask any questions because i didn't care i just wanted to get paid.

What would you guys reckon would be a safe bet for running a 600, a 250, and a bank of t5s all at the same time?

Just one 20 amp?

you could do one, buy why not split it up and do one for the 600 and one for everything else, means you can use the circuits for a few other small things if needed.
