outside to start, inside to ride...

sup yall, I got 17 germinated seeds planted in soil, they on top of a roof. This is my first grow, so yeah they'll get sun all day until we move them indoors. We'll probably let them grow about 4-5 inches and then move them inside. Is there any reason I shouldn't do that? What do yall think?

if you can grow them outside ,, why not do that? inside can be a pain in the ass, what kind of set up are you gonna have inside?

Hey guys, it turns out the soil we started these in is shit, and I need to get them into a better medium. Tips/advice going about this? about 7 of them have sprouted btw, over the weekend, didn't even come by to check on them, and them bitches aren't looking half bad either... We're setting up a wall of CFLs right now (yeah that's right, a WALL of CFLs lol) so that's gonna be pretty bad ass. Its gonna be like one of them little light bright LED boards, but with a much bigger board and with CFLs haha.

For seedlings, use a soil with an even NPK ratio, such as 10:10:10 or 5:5:5. No nutrients should be added... I would recommend fox farm soil always add lots of perlite....keeps soil light and fluffy....prevents soil from getting too soggy......provides better aeration..Make sure your soil Ph is 6.5 to 7.0

I guess we're on the right track then, as far as I know the PH of the soil IS 7.0 and they seem to be flourishing. You guys, the CFLs are insane, not really a wall but its like two long lines of them, about 20 in all. This rocks, the plants seem to be flourishing, especially this one that has lots of tiny leaves sprouting out, there's no stretching at all either, this is great :)

I pretty much ditched this grow. It wasn't going that well, I mean in 10 days the damn seedlings were still on their first node. Screw that. So i ditched them, got my new bubbleponic system and am still waiting on my seeds and mini-greenhouse seedling starter, once I get those, and my nutrients in, I'll be good to go :)
