Over dried?

I dont agree sorry, its dry when it smokes and if you jar then it wont mold when stored. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel :-)
Why so desperate to force your opinion all the time?
In the winter where i am, humidity is near 0. I hang for half a week then move to tupperware and stack loosely for a week flipping now and again, then into jars.
Everyones conditions are different, and what works for you isnt necessarily right for everyone else.

You can disagree all you want. Many many people use this method. Sorry my friend but there are tiny tricks to the basic techniques.
Most have zero idea what dried buds moisture level is in a percentage or know the words moisture equilibrium and what that means so hit me up when you get to my level... until then i give the answers and you stick to what you do best thanks :-)

Because i think only a few actually understand these subjects and the science used and the rest are spamming the site with utter rubbish. Happened with leds and they still havent killed of hps so shows you the difference between opinion and educated.

buddy you just read Wikipedia which is shitty references and just copy and paste

You hang dry your bud 7-14 days depending on dry room and how much bud in a 60-70F and 50-60Rh and then jar after tiny and some big stems snap for 4 weeks or upto years... it's works for everybody in north America. I don't know what you do over there in Wales if you are from there actually but you seem like a "know it all, my way or the highway" kind of guy. ease up there bud.

The process of bacteria fungi and enzymes takes two weeks to complete for the dry - you can smoke somr from day 7 till 14 and witness the change...

and.... bud is dry when it smokes and zero to do with stem snapping\bending.

You also mis-quote room humifity as that dictates the percentage moisture left after drying as per the equilibrium charts used by most other industries. Wiki merely presents the basics as most need to get grounded in the science and not someones opinion on stem snapping\bending.

Its not that your way wont work but its prone to problem and most know zero else on how to dry or the science behind it.

Check my join date - i am that know it all on some core subjects here and in our defence we have been spammed so bad with industry rubbish and bad opinion that its gona get said a lot until the bs goes away and peeps catch on. These threads are so all can have the answers... overgrow :-)

I dry mine anywhere between 50 and 60% and it always smokes and tastes great never molds. I leave mine 2 weeks to dry in the summer and its equal to room humidity but could never do that in the dry ass winter

I was going to post a couple funny stories about weed smell/no smell but I don't have time to type it all out. I may type it out some time next week. The gist of it is that I found a couple buds that laid on the floor of the trim room for a couple weeks. I threw them on a tray and forgot about them for another couple weeks. When I stumbled across them and smoked some and it was bomb ass weed. It tasted better than the weed in my jars. What does that tell me?
I find that always locks in that fresh green taste which is awesome if your buds are good quality but a cure can bring out a more mellow taste like my gelato turns real creamy ice cream taste when cured as opposed to its more skunky berry flavor when green still. Idk but there's more than one way to skin a cat as they say
