Overdried?

My first grow and harvest. I harvested my 2 crit mass plants a week ago and hung my branches in my 4x4 tent.
The RH was 55-60% and temps 65-70, oscilatting fan on the floor and exhaust fan on for the first 3 days. After 5 days they stopped smelling like a barn and started smelling spicy, no more hay smell.
I jarred everything yesterday. The branches still had bend in them but small buds popped off easily. I got 18 oz, filled 22 bottles a little over 1/2 full.
They buds smelled great and smoke well, slightly harsh in the bong still but not too bad for 7 days dried.

Contrary to what I've read and did though, I think I may have actually overdried it.

After a night in the jars the buds feel the same, crispy edges but the buds have some spring to them still so not completely dried out. But they're not what I'd consider wet or moist. The RH in the jars are like 53-55% just after opening them, I'll give it another 24 hours with the hygrometer in the jar to see how much it changes.
Is there going to be any more benefit to curing if the RH stays below that 55%? What if I add a boveda to each jar?

As a test I put an 62% boveda in an empty jar overnight, it went from 54% to 57% in 12 hours. I'm not sure if this is normal time frame though.
But it seems like given enough time it would hit 62% in 24-36 hours. If I add a boveda to each jar would burping be self defeating if it takes 24+ hours to get to 62%? I'd just be constantly resetting the RH.

It takes over a day for the humidity to equalize. First the dry outer leaves absorb the moisture.

Ok, now I really feel like a newb, of course it needs to sweat to up the humidity :dunce:
Anyway, I pulled put a couple jars n a warmer part of the house to hasten the drying to see how much the RH would move (they were originally in the basement @65*F). Now at 57% instead of 55%, so 2% increase in 2 hours in the kitchen cupboard (73*F)
So not over dry after all :bigjoint:
How high should I let the RH get before deciding they need to come out of the jars and brown bagging them?

Yeah, I think I overdried.

It never went beyond 57% so I'm at the limit of the cure window. I'll just leave the bottles sealed for a few more days and see if it changes, maybe throw in a boveda for good measure. It's not terrible, but hope it continues to improve over the next couple of weeks.

Upon reflection, with the extraction fan on, the tent may have been 55-60% the whole time but I would have been pulling in 48-50% RH from outside of it. I guess I've learned what not to do for next time.
