hi all i have a problem with one of my plants...they are just under a month old, i have fed them twice with 1/2 strength nutes (biobizz grow and heaven) all the feed and water has bin ph'd to 6.8. they are under a 600w HPS and a 250w blue spectrum CFL....

pics from 4 days ago and today... do you think it could be overwatering or another problem. i haven't watered in 2 days when the pic was taken and the pot still feels abit heavy as if it has moisture in there..

any help much appreciated! if you need any more info please ask or look in my journal in my sig.

cheers in advanced.

i got the same issue before and i was thinking of overwattering too .. but in my case the issue was not enough water(i have 1500watts light for veg and they probally absorb the water fast).. so try to water it and spray one more time .. and in the case is same like mine it should be up in 1-2 hours ... if not just let it without water for 3-4 days ... also what is that yellow leaf at the bottom ? is it yellow at the first pic ??

Here's how to find out if you're overwatering or underwatering:

Overwatering will only make the tips of leaves fall, creating that typical claw look.
Underwatering will affect the rigidity of all secondary stems, so that the entire plant will look droopy, not just the leaves.

To find out which one it is, stop watering for 1-2 days. If the plant tends to improve it's look, you know it was overwatering, if the look remains the same or worsens, it's underwatering.

nah the yellowing wasn't apparent in the 1st picture...

im using biobizz allmix with added perlite.

the second picture is when it hasn't been watered for 2.5 days so would you reccomend watering?>

thanks for all the replies

yeah i do usually, the plant was lookin really thirsty so i gave it more than i gave my other two (which are looking fine btw) so im going with overwatering.... reckon if i just wait it out i will see improvement? thinking of transplanting soon also, would this be a bad idea with a plant in this condition?

cheers

I would wait for it to get healthy before u transplant.

Remember way more plants die from overwatering then from underwatering.
Dont be scared to let the soil get crispy on top.
