Papaya ???s

google rapid rooters, i had a bitch of a time germinating my papaya seeds and so have others. with the rapid rooters i've had 100% success.

Fox Farms all the way, with a touch of Dark Energy and Liquid Karma when the times are right. Big sticky buds!!!!!!!!!!!!

so a rapid rooter is pretty much a jiffy pellet?

or is it that same concept with just different medium?

What type of setup did you use to grow your Papaya?

I am gonna rock a cfl grow this time around. Will post some pics once I get a camera. busted mine at a festival last summer.

they are made of coco. impossible to over water and those papaya seeds have a hard shell and need all the moisture they can to crack.

Ive heard good things about coco. im gonna order a tray of those and see how they work out. Must be good for clones as well. How did your plants turn out Kevin?

i had trouble germinating papaya too. yes its supposed to be mango knockoff. mine didnt take anyother thing than mg soil, mg time release fert. they werent particular at all. fair producer for me. buds were a little loose but smelled and tasted terrific. left too ripen, first class knock you on your ass indica. it did take rather long to ripen though

my first papaya grow i was averaging an ounce a plant, my last papaya grow i scored almost 6 ounces from one plant. did it with the fox farms nutes and miracle grow soil, under a 400hps. i'm using some ocean forest now, you can't beat this stuff.

I will be growing this batch of papaya in a small closet grow

2x2x4

14 cfl bulbs

4 6500k 26w

8 2700k 26w

2 2700k 42 w

396 total watts.

no clue on total lumens.

1 70 cfm bathroom exhaust fan mounted in the center of the ceiling of the room - exhausted out of the room via 4" ducting totaling about 3.5' ducting to reach the outside of the room.

1 4" inline fan mounted at the bottom of the room on the left side. total ducting is 10"

1 10" fan directed at the light fixture

1 small 12" tower oscillating fan

3 gallon pots

FF ocean soil 40/60 mix with perilite

FF Big bloom and TigeR Bloom

natural spring water from the beautiful white mtns!

Still waiting on the papaya seeds. Have one small Green Spirit/Cali Hash cross clone in my cloner right now.

once the seeds come Ill be ready to rock.

Thanks John. This was a soilless mix grow with 600 hps. 4 plant grow, drying not yet done but should average 5-7 ounces per plants. And`as you see some monster colas. After one week in 12/12 I trim 2 or 3 lower growth branches and fsans. Really puts a growth kick into the colas. Had one this harvest over 20 inches.

Nice CLogic, sounds like a great harvest. do you have any pics of your grow or did you do a journal for it?

I started a Journal this morning. Nothing growing yet other than a Grape spirit clone which I dont even know the sex of yet.
